Abstract: A sink apparatus may include a central support member, a forward support member, and a rear support member. The central support member may include an upper engagement member to engage a sink faucet, and a lower engagement member to engage a main sink drain that is in fluid communication with an air conditioner drain line. The forward support member may include a forward engagement member to engage a sink overflow drain that is in fluid communication with the air conditioner drain line. The rear support member may include a rear engagement member to engage a rear wall of a sink. By using the sink apparatus to cover the main sink drain and the overflow sink drain, overflow or escape of debris from the air conditioner drain line through the main sink drain and the overflow sink drain is prevented when compressed air is applied to the air conditioner drain line.
Abstract: To write forgettable data to a blockchain, the forgettable data is transmitted to a server, from which encrypted data corresponding to the forgettable data are received. A hash of the forgettable data is generated. A data block including the encrypted data and control data including the hash is added to the blockchain.

Abstract: Ghost routing is a network verification technique that uses a portion of a production network itself to verify the impact of potential network changes. Ghost routing logically partitions the production network into a main network and a ghost network. The main network handles live traffic while the ghost network handles traffic generated for diagnostic purposes. The ghost network may have a network topology identical to the production network and may use the same hardware and software as the production network. An operator may implement a network configuration change on the ghost network and then use verification tools to verify that the network configuration change on the ghost network does not result in bugs. Verifying on the ghost network may not affect the main network. If the network operator verifies the network configuration change on the ghost network, the network operator may implement the network configuration change on the main network.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for optimizing a quantum circuit. In one aspect, a method includes identifying one or more sequences of operations in the quantum circuit that un-compute respective qubits on which the quantum circuit operates; generating an adjusted quantum circuit, comprising, for each identified sequence of operations in the quantum circuit, replacing the sequence of operations with an X basis measurement and a classically-controlled phase correction operation, wherein a result of the X basis measurement acts as a control for the classically-controlled correction phase operation; and executing the adjusted quantum circuit.
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses are described for verification of wireless network connection. A wireless local area network may comprise a client device and a gateway. A data connection, within the wireless local area network, between the client device and the gateway may be verified based on gateway identifiers provided to the client device via data communication channels internal and external the wireless local area network.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a skin care formulation, which includes silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) and/or silver microparticles (AgMPs), vitamin E, glycerin, hyaluronic acid or a salt thereof, and water. The skin care formulation may be in a form of a serum. The present formulation may be used for treating a skin condition, such as aging, wrinkle, or pigmentation. The present formulation also may be used for moisturizing, rejuvenating, repairing, or improving aesthetic appearance of a skin of a subject in need thereof.
Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to identification and assessment of security threats to a computer system using zero trust security. A method may include receiving, at a policy enforcement device of a computer network, first data from a first subsystem of the computer network; receiving, at the policy enforcement device, second data from a second subsystem of the computer network, the first subsystem different than the first subsystem; identifying, by the policy enforcement device, based on a comparison of at least one of the first data or the second data to a security policy, a security threat to the computer network; and causing, by the policy enforcement device, a threat intelligence device of the computer network to determine a risk of the security threat.

Abstract: A method for enabling vehicle connected services for a hearing-impaired vehicle occupant includes receiving sensor data from a plurality of sensors of a vehicle. The sensor data includes scene data indicative of a scene inside the vehicle and outside the vehicle. The method further includes determining that the hearing-impaired vehicle occupant is articulating sign language using the sensor data. Also, the method includes determining a vehicle-occupant message corresponding to the sign language articulated by the hearing-impaired vehicle occupant to generate vehicle occupant-message data in response to determining that the hearing-impaired vehicle occupant is articulating sign language. The method further includes transmitting the vehicle occupant-message data and the scene data to a remote system in response to generating the vehicle occupant-message data. Further, the method includes receiving a vehicle connected service from the remote system.

Abstract: A structure includes a substrate and a coating applied over the substrate, the coating containing particles sized between 30 and 250 micrometers. A proportion of the particles to the carrier is between 40 and 70 by volume percentage. In response to excitation of the structure by a controllable excitation source, a first instrument monitors behavior of the particles to determine a first condition of the structure thereby. In response to an absence of excitation of the structure by the controllable excitation source, a second instrument monitors behavior of the particles to determine a second condition of the structure thereby.

Abstract: A distributed radio access network (RAN) includes a plurality of remote units (RUs) communicatively coupled to a centralized unit. During each of at least one measurement iteration: one of the plurality of RUs is selected as a transmit-mode RU and all other of the plurality of RUs are in receive-mode; the transmit mode-RU transmits a known pattern signal to the receive-mode RUs; and each receive-mode RU determines a frame or symbol boundary difference between when the transmit-mode RU transmitted the known pattern signal and when the respective receive-mode RU received the known pattern signal. Following the at least one measurement iteration: the centralized unit determines a respective timing offset based on each frame or symbol boundary difference; the centralized unit determines a common alignment point for the RUs based on the timing offsets; and each RU's timing is adjusted to align with the common alignment point.
Abstract: Systems and methods are described that relate to a light detection and ranging (LIDAR) device. The LIDAR device includes a fiber laser configured to emit light within a wavelength range, a scanning portion configured to direct the emitted light in a reciprocating manner about a first axis, and a plurality of detectors configured to sense light within the wavelength range. The device additionally includes a controller configured to receive target information, which may be indicative of an object, a position, a location, or an angle range. In response to receiving the target information, the controller may cause the rotational mount to rotate so as to adjust a pointing direction of the LIDAR. The controller is further configured to cause the LIDAR to scan a field-of-view (FOV) of the environment. The controller may determine a three-dimensional (3D) representation of the environment based on data from scanning the FOV.
