  • Patent number: 12200730
Abstract: For acquiring system information instances, a method determines if one or more system information instances requested in a request message are received in a reply message from a base station. The request message includes a request bitmap indicating the requested system information instances. The reply message includes a reply bitmap indicating the system information instances in the reply message. The method acquires the system information instances indicated in the request bitmap and the reply bitmap from the reply message. • Patent number: 12199578
Abstract: An amplifier circuit couples one or more selectable input ports to one or more selectable output ports. The circuit includes N input transistors and M output transistors. Each input transistor has its base coupled to a respective input port node, its emitter coupled to ground, and its collector connected to an intermediate node. Each output transistor has its base coupled to a bias node, its emitter connected to the intermediate node, and its collector coupled to a respective output port nodes. Each input transistor enables the respective input port node when its base is biased. Each output transistor enables the respective output port node when its bias node is asserted. The base of the input transistor for each enabled port is biased to provide a quiescent current I0*m/n through that input transistor, where m is the number of enabled output ports and n is the number of enabled input ports.

  • Patent number: 12199816
Abstract: A Configuration Auditor and Configuration Enforcer (CACE) automatically runs audits of cells in a network and finds any discrepancies between the actual and preferred configuration. The CACE has access to lists of parameters and preferred settings for the network operator in which the cell being audited is located and thus knows the preferred settings for the given type of radio being audited and/or use of the radio in terms of the intended coverage area and/or traffic type being communicated. The list of parameters to which the actual radio settings is compared is sometimes referred to as a “golden parameter list”. The detection of radio parameter setting discrepancies, e.g., setting errors, and the correction of the parameter settings is performed automatically with parameter settings being automatically corrected on the fly, e.g., immediately, when possible without disrupting service or during a scheduled service interval if a radio reboot is required.

  • Patent number: 12200469
Abstract: Embodiments relate to an audio system that performs equalization of audio signals based on one or more diffuse field head-related transfer functions (HRTFs) and device-specific data. User-specific data and device-specific data (i.e., transducer-specific data) are applied to an acoustic model to predict an acoustic response for a user. An equalization filter is then determined using the acoustic response and the one or more diffuse field HRTFs. The equalization filter is applied to a processed version of an audio signal to create a modified version of the audio signal. The modified version of the audio signal is presented to the user via a transducer array of the audio system. The audio system can further include a microphone assembly that reduces the Helmholtz resonance effect.

  • Patent number: 12195677
Abstract: A method of hydroprocessing is performed wherein non-petroleum feedstocks, such as those containing from about 10% or more olefinic compounds or heteroatom contaminants by weight, are treated in a first reaction zone to provide reaction products. The process involves introducing the feedstock along with diluents or a recycle and hydrogen in a first reaction zone and allowing the feed and hydrogen to react in a liquid phase within the first reaction zone to produce reaction products. The reaction products are cooled and/or water is removed from the reaction products. At least a portion of the cooled and/or separated reaction product are introduced as a feed along with hydrogen into a second reaction zone containing a hydroprocessing catalyst. The feed and hydrogen are allowed to react in a liquid phase within the second reaction zone to produce a second-reaction-zone reaction product.

  • Patent number: 12199879
Abstract: A noisy neighbor in a cloud multitenant system can present resource governance issues. Usage quotas can be applied, and traffic can be throttled to mitigate the problem. Network traffic can be monitored from routers of a software defined data center (SDDC) configured to process network traffic for machines of different tenants. By default, the network traffic from the routers can be processed via a first edge router for the SDDC. A second edge router can be deployed for the SDDC in response to the network traffic from a particular router exceeding a threshold. Network traffic from the particular router can be processed via the second edge router while the remaining traffic can continue to be processed via the first edge router.

  • Patent number: 12198640
Abstract: This application is directed to a method for correct temperature measurement. An electronic device includes a temperature sensor that measures an ambient temperature of an environment and a display that is driven by a display driver. The electronic device determines a brightness setting of the display, estimates a display driver current based on the brightness setting, estimates a driver efficiency of the display driver based on the display driver current, and combines a predetermined display driver voltage, the display driver current, and the driver efficiency to determine a power consumption of the display driver. An ambient temperature correction is determined in accordance with the determined power consumption of the display driver, and the measured ambient temperature is thereby corrected using the ambient temperature correction. In some implementations, a power consumption of a distinct heat-generating electronic component is also monitored for adjusting the ambient temperature correction.

  • Patent number: 12197868
Abstract: Implementations are provided for automatically mining corpus(es) of electronic video files for video clips that contain spoken utterances that are suitable usage examples to accompany or compliment dictionary definitions. These video clips may then be associated with target n-grams in a searchable database, such as a database underlying an online dictionary. In various implementations, a set of candidate video clips in which a target n-gram is uttered in a target context may be identified from a corpus of electronic video files. For each candidate video clip of the set, pre-existing manual subtitles associated with the candidate video clip may be compared to text generated based on speech recognition processing of an audio portion of the candidate video clip. Based at least in part on the comparing, a measure of suitability as a dictionary usage example may be calculated for the candidate video clip.
