  • Patent number: 12198718
Abstract: A method for determining synthetic speech includes receiving audio data characterizing speech in audio data obtained by a user device. The method also includes generating, using a trained self-supervised model, a plurality of audio features vectors each representative of audio features of a portion of the audio data. The method also includes generating, using a shallow discriminator model, a score indicating a presence of synthetic speech in the audio data based on the corresponding audio features of each audio feature vector of the plurality of audio feature vectors. The method also includes determining whether the score satisfies a synthetic speech detection threshold. When the score satisfies the synthetic speech detection threshold, the method includes determining that the speech in the audio data obtained by the user device comprises synthetic speech.

  • Patent number: 12200277
Abstract: In some embodiments, a method sends a set of first requests for a set of first segments of a video in a playback session. A first protocol from a plurality of protocols is specified in at least one of the set of first requests. The set of first segments is received. The method determines whether to switch from using the first protocol to a second protocol in the playback session based on receiving the set of first segments. When switching to the second protocol, the method sends a second request in the playback session, wherein the second request indicates the second protocol is to be used to send a second segment of the video.

  • Patent number: 12199805
Abstract: A system for demodulating and decoding a data body in a message transmitted along a vehicle power line is provided. First and second logic symbols in the data body include distinctive positive and negative peaks, respectively, assuming maximum positive and negative amplitudes for the data body. A peak detector circuit receives the data body and generates a peak indicator signal indicating each time the data body reaches a positive or negative peak having an amplitude equal to or greater than the previous largest positive or negative amplitude in the data body. A sampling circuit generates a data signal responsive to the peak indicator signal. The sampling circuit ignores portions of the peak indicator signal occurring prior to an indication of one of the distinctive positive and negative peaks and the data signal assumes values indicative of the distinctive positive and negative peaks in the peak indicator signal.

  • Patent number: 12200603
Abstract: The disclosed implementations provide systems and methods for tracking a user device. The method includes receiving, from a respective application running on a first electronic device associated with a user, a request initiated by the user to affiliate with a second electronic device. In response to the request by the user to affiliate with the second electronic device, the method includes determining a wireless identifier of the first electronic device. After determining the wireless identifier of the first electronic device, the method includes receiving an indication that a second wireless access point, distinct from the first wireless access point, is in communication with the first electronic device of the user based on the second wireless access point detecting the wireless identifier of the first electronic device. The method further includes determining that the first electronic device of the user is proximal to the second wireless access point.
