In one embodiment, a method is provided comprising: receiving, via a browser, a consumer rights request for a data subject for performing an action with regard to personal data associated with the data subject; detecting a state of the browser indicating a location; identifying a law based on the location; determining a level of identity verification required based on the law; generating, based on the level, a GUI by configuring a first prompt on the GUI configured for receiving input for a first type of identity verification; transmitting an instruction to present the GUI; receiving the input for the first type of identity verification; verifying the identity of the data subject based on the input; and responsive to verifying the identity, causing performance of the action.

Abstract: A flow battery system with a cathode cell including a first electrode, an anode cell includes a second electrode, and a membrane between the two cells. A first electrolyte tank includes a catholyte. A second electrolyte tank includes an anolyte. The system includes two rebalancing cells. A first rebalancing cell is in fluid communication between the cathode cell and the first electrolyte tank and is configured to reduce active species from the catholyte. The second rebalancing cell is in fluid communication with the first electrolyte tank and the second electrolyte tank such that the first electrolyte tank and the second electrolyte tank are in direct fluid communication. The second rebalancing cell is configured to reduce active species from the catholyte and the reduced catholyte may be combined directly with the anolyte. The second rebalancing cell may be a chemical reactor, a catalytic reactor, or an electrochemical reactor.

Abstract: A method of signaling an intra prediction mode used to encode a current block in an encoded video bitstream using at least one processor includes generating a first most probable mode (MPM) list corresponding to a zero reference line of the current block, wherein the first MPM list includes a plurality of angular intra prediction modes; generating a second MPM list corresponding to one or more non-zero reference lines of the current block, wherein the second MPM list includes the plurality of angular intra prediction modes; signaling a reference line index indicating a reference line used to encode the current block from among the zero reference line and the one or more non-zero reference lines; and signaling an intra mode index indicating the intra prediction mode within the first MPM list or the second MPM list.

Abstract: A device for measuring a cryogenic liquid level is disclosed. The device includes an inner cylindrical tube, an outer cylindrical tube that is coaxial with the inner cylindrical tube, the outer tube separated from the inner tube by an air gap, wherein the air gap is exposed to environmental pressure but sealed against cryogenic liquid, and a pressure transducer in pressure communication with the inner tube. The outer and inner tubes may be inserted into a cryogenic fluid chamber, and the depth of the cryogenic liquid may be determined based on the pressure present in the inner tube and detected by the pressure transducer.

Abstract: A method performed by at least one processor includes retrieving a dialogue history including a plurality of speech utterances, each speech utterance including one or more words. The method further includes encoding the plurality of speech utterances such that each speech utterance is associated with a sequence identifier indicating an order of each speech utterance in the dialogue history. The method further includes decoding the encoded plurality of speech utterances to generate at least one discourse relation triple corresponding to the dialogue history, the at least one discourse relation triple including a first sequence identifier of a first speech utterance from the plurality of speech utterances, a second sequence identifier of a second speech utterance from the plurality of speech utterances, and a dialogue discourse type.

Abstract: The techniques described herein disclose a system that is configured to detect and track the three-dimensional pose of an object (e.g., a head-mounted display device) in a color image using an accessible three-dimensional model of the object. The system uses the three-dimensional pose of the object to repair pixel depth values associated with a region (e.g., a surface) of the object that is composed of material that absorbs light emitted by a time-of-flight depth sensor to determine depth. Consequently, a color-depth image (e.g., a Red-Green-Blue-Depth image or RGB-D image) can be produced that does not include dark holes on and around the region of the object that is composed of material that absorbs light emitted by the time-of-flight depth sensor.

The mechanism that controls the transaction between a sending device and a receiving device, such as the application or an application plugin, is configured to allocate a high degree of trust to at least one of the devices with tamper-resistant hardware. This way, any confirmations and representations from the device with the tamper-resistant hardware can be trusted and locally relied upon. The tamper-resistant device is configured with rules to prevent certain actions, such as double spending and overspending, among other rules. Thus, so long as the receiving device can verify that the sending device is configured with tamper-resistant hardware, the receiving device can trust that the sending device is acting within the confines of its prescribed rules and that the money will transfer.
