  • Patent number: 12190104
Abstract: A software application includes work order resources, each of which defines an atomic operation for the software application, and a construction service resource, which processes the work order resources in response to all interaction requests for the software application. Each interaction request is received from a client and identifies a corresponding work order, which the construction service processes to dynamically construct a set of deliverables, which can include a custom representation of the work order. While processing the interaction request, the construction service, as directed by the work order, can make one or more requests to context resources for context information corresponding to an activity for which the interaction was requested to construct the set of deliverables.

  • Patent number: 12189746
Abstract: Techniques for securing displayed data on computing devices are disclosed. One example technique includes upon determining that the computing device is unlocked, capturing and analyzing an image in a field of view of the camera of the computing device to determine whether the image includes a human face. In response to determining that the image includes a human face, the technique includes determining facial attributes of the human face in the image via facial recognition and whether the human face is that of an authorized user of the computing device. In response to determining that the human face is not one of an authorized user of the computing device, the technique includes converting user data on the computing device from an original language to a new language to output on a display of the computing device, thereby securing the displayed user data even when the computing device is unlocked.

  • Patent number: 12192572
Abstract: Methods and systems for packaging, transcoding, and fragmenting files (e.g., video content) are described. Video content may be transcoded into fix size, variable duration fragments files that satisfy a target fragment file size. Those fragment files may be received, decoded to recover original frames of the underlying video, and then repackaged as new fragment files that are grouped based on overall file size. As a result, the new fragments may have different playback durations, but their overall file sizes may be the same and/or within a target fragment file size (TFS).

  • Patent number: 12190011
Abstract: An electronic device, method, and computer program product support automatically selecting cross-view screen sharing for a secure peer-to-peer application during a communication session. A processor of a first electronic device executes application(s) to present a first user interface at a first display of the first electronic device. The first electronic device establishes a secure peer-to-peer connection for wireless communication, via a communication subsystem, with a second electronic device having a second display. The first electronic device enables a cross-view mode. The electronic device transmits a duplicate copy of the first user interface to the second electronic device for presenting at the second display. The first electronic device receives, from the second electronic device, a duplicate copy of a second user interface being presented at the second display.

  • Patent number: 12192970
Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a method and a device in a User Equipment (UE) and a base station for wireless communication. The UE receives a first signaling, the first signaling being used to determine a first time-frequency resource; receives a second signaling, the second signaling being used to determine a second time-frequency resource; and transmits a first bit block in the first time-frequency resource, or, transmits a first bit block in the second time-frequency resource. Time domain resource occupied by the first time-frequency resource and time domain resource occupied by the second time-frequency resource are non-orthogonal; the first signaling carries a first identifier or a second identifier; whether the first signaling carries the first identifier or the second identifier is used to determine whether the first bit block is transmitted in the first time-frequency resource or transmitted in the second time-frequency resource.

  • Patent number: 12189875
Abstract: Certain exemplary embodiments relate to entertainment systems and, more particularly, to systems that incorporate digital downloading jukebox features and improved user interfaces. For instance, a smart search may be provided, e.g., where search results vary based on the popularity of songs within the venue, in dependence on songs being promoted, etc. As another example, a tile-based approach to organizing groupings of songs is provided. Groupings may involve self-populating collections of songs that combine centrally-promoted songs, songs in a given genre that are popular across an audiovisual distribution network, and songs that are locally popular and match up with the given genre (e.g., because of shared attributes such as same or similar genre, artist, etc.). Different tile visual presentations also are contemplated, as are different physical jukebox designs. In certain example embodiments, a sealed core unit with the “brains” of the jukebox is insertable into a docking station.

  • Patent number: 12187320
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to differentiating between active and inactive construction zones. In one example, this may include identifying a construction object associated with a construction zone. The identified construction object may be used to map the area of the construction zone. Detailed map information may then be used to classify the activity of the construction zone. The area of the construction zone and the classification may be added to the detailed map information. Subsequent to adding the construction zone and the classification to the detailed map information, the construction object (or another construction object) may be identified. The location of the construction object may be used to identify the construction zone and classification from the detailed map information. The classification of the classification may be used to operate a vehicle having an autonomous mode.
