  • Patent number: 12192342
Abstract: This document relates to using secure MPC to select digital components in ways that preserve user privacy and protects the security of data of each party that is involved in the selection process. In one aspect, a method includes receiving, by a first computing system of a secure MPC system and from a client device, a digital component request and a nonce. The first computing system generates, based on the nonce and a function, an array including a share of a Bloom filter representing user group identifiers for user groups that include a user of the client device as a member. For each of multiple user group identifiers, the first computing system calculates, in collaboration with one or more second computing systems of the secure MPC system and using the array, a respective first secret share of one or more user group membership condition parameters.

  • Patent number: 12189786
Abstract: A technology to identify processing paths of untrusted input data received by applications that are vulnerable to attacks and to further detect and prevent actual attacks that try to exploit those vulnerabilities is disclosed. Application code is augmented at run-time with sensor code which detects the entry of input-data into the application and further traces the propagation, manipulation and, sanitization of this input-data until its usage in a data sink. The so generated data-flow traces reveal data-flow paths that lack required sanitization measures to neutralize potentially harmful input-data. Such data-flow paths are reported as vulnerabilities. Further, input-data that reaches data-sink interfaces is scanned by data-sink sensors to identify harmful input data. On identification of harmful input data, an attack is reported, and countermeasures are applied to prevent the identified attack.

  • Patent number: 12192161
Abstract: Systems and methods are directed to email threading based on machine learning determined categories and features. A network system accesses a plurality of emails addressed to a user. The network system then classifies, using a machine learning model, each email into at least one of a plurality of categories. For a category of the plurality of categories, one or more feature values are extracted from each email in the category. Based on the category and the extracted feature values, the network system groups messages having a same feature value in the same category together into a single email thread. Information related to the single email thread is then presented at a client device of the user.

  • Patent number: 12189457
Abstract: Techniques are described herein that are capable of reducing latency of changing an operating state of a processor from a low-power state to a normal-power state. For example, providing a notification from a hardware system to the processor or receiving the notification at the processor, indicating that a transaction layer packet will be provided to the processor at a future time, may trigger the processor to change the operating state from the low-power state to the normal-power state. In another example, receipt of a transaction layer packet at the processor from a hardware system may trigger the processor to change the operating state from the low-power state to the normal-power state.

  • Patent number: 12192116
Abstract: Some embodiments of the invention provide a method for configuring a physical network card or physical network controller (pNIC) to provide flow processing offload (FPO) for a host computer connected to the pNIC. The host computers host a set of compute nodes in a virtual network. The set of compute nodes are each associated with a set of interfaces that are each assigned a locally-unique virtual port identifier (VPID) by a flow processing and action generator. The pNIC includes a set of interfaces that are assigned physical port identifiers (PPIDs) by the pNIC. The method includes providing the pNIC with a set of mappings between VPIDs and PPIDs. The method also includes sending updates to the mappings as compute nodes migrate, connect to different interfaces of the pNIC, are assigned different VPIDs, etc.
