  • Patent number: 12161151
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a device and method for forming a cigar shaped object. A mold is provided having at least one cigar shaped pocket, a rod aligned within the pocket and a separate tamping device. The tamping device has a stem and handle with a bore in the stem larger than the diameter of the rod. Tobacco or other smoking material is placed in the pocket and the tamping device is used to compress the material which forms a cigar-shaped tube by placing the tamping device onto the rod and repeatedly moving it up and down to tamp or compress the material. The rod, when removed, creates a bore through the smoking material to improve and control air draw. After removal from the mold, the packed smoking material may be wrapped in any appropriate wrapper material.

  • Patent number: 12164055
Abstract: Example embodiments relate to radar reflection filtering using a vehicle sensor system. A computing device may detect a first object in radar data from a radar unit coupled to a vehicle and, responsive to determining that information corresponding to the first object is unavailable from other vehicle sensors, use the radar data to determine a position and a velocity for the first object relative to the radar unit. The computing device may also detect a second object aligned with a vector extending between the radar unit and the first object. Based on a geometric relationship between the vehicle, the first object, and the second object, the computing device may determine that the first object is a self-reflection of the vehicle caused at least in part by the second object and control the vehicle based on this determination.

  • Patent number: 12166837
Abstract: An application programming interface (API) proxy intercepts API calls and responses for an application under test in a development environment, simulating (e.g., mocking) rate limiting and throttling behavior, which is otherwise challenging to test. The API proxy receives a API call and, based on a resource limiting parameter (e.g., rate-limiting or otherwise throttling), determines that the API call should be forwarded to the API endpoint. When the API proxy receives another API call from the application, destined for the same API endpoint, the API proxy determines to not forward the second API call, based on the resource limiting parameter (e.g., too soon after the first API call, or requests too much of a computational burden, such as exceeding a resource quota). The API proxy instead returns a throttling response, as would be expected from the API endpoint. The API proxy provides guidance messages for both outgoing calls and incoming responses.

  • Patent number: 12167056
Abstract: Provided are methods and systems for controlling data such as content and/or application data transmitted to one or more user devices. One method can comprise receiving a request for first content and generating, in response to the request for the first content, a first transport stream comprising the first content and application data relating to a first application. At least a portion of the first transport stream is transmitted to a recipient device. An interruption in the transmission of the first transport stream is detected and a determination is made that only a first portion of the application data has been transmitted to the recipient device.
