Abstract: A method for measuring concomitant fields in a magnetic resonance (MR) system is provided. The method includes applying a measurement pulse sequence in a plurality of acquisitions. Applying the measurement pulse sequence further includes applying a first bipolar gradient pulse in a first acquisition, applying a second bipolar gradient pulse in reverse polarities from the first bipolar gradient pulse in a second acquisition, and applying the measurement pulse sequence without a bipolar gradient pulse in a third acquisition. The method further includes acquiring MR signals emitted from the subject, and generating phase images based on the MR signals. The method also includes generating volumetric vector field maps based on the phase images, wherein the volumetric vector field maps include concomitant field at each spatial location in a 3D volume, the concomitant field represented as a vector. In addition, the method includes outputting the volumetric vector field maps.
Abstract: The disclosure provides tubes including a blend of two or more polyethylenes. For example, the blend can comprise at least 80% by weight of one or more of LLDPE, LDPE, MDPE, and HDPE, and no more than 20% by weight of UHMWPE. Such tubes can have low average wall thicknesses, e.g., 0.1 mm or less, rendering them suitable for use as catheter liners.
Abstract: A receiver coil of an inductive angular position sensor can have circuit features that become smaller than reasonable for high resolution measurement designs. This is especially true when multiple receiver coils are used, such as in a three-phase configuration, and when each of the multiple receiver coils is in a twisted loop configuration. The disclosed inductive angular position sensor utilizes different spatial frequencies for a rotor coil and the receiver coils. For example, the spatial frequency of the receiver coils may be kept smaller than the rotor coil. In this condition, the fundamental frequency of the angular position sensor is shifted to the least common multiple of the spatial frequencies, making the angular resolution of the inductive angular position sensor high, while the circuit features of the receiver coils are maintained at a reasonable size.
Abstract: A packet-filtering system described herein may be configured to filter packets with encrypted hostnames in accordance with one or packet-filtering rules. The packet-filtering system may resolve a plaintext hostname from ciphertext comprising an encrypted Server Name Indication (eSNI) value. The packet-filtering system may resolve the plaintext hostname using a plurality of techniques. Once the plaintext hostname is resolved, the packet-filtering system may then use the plaintext hostname to determine whether the packets are associated with one or more threat indicators. If the packet-filtering system determines that the packets are associated with one or more threat indicators, the packet-filtering system may apply a packet filtering operation associated with the packet-filtering rules to the packets.

Abstract: A molding subsystem includes a reconfigurable mold and a control subsystem. The reconfigurable mold includes one or more plates, with each plate including: a plurality of pins defining a molding surface of the reconfigurable mold; a frame which defines a plurality of channels for receiving the plurality of pins; and a plurality of actuators for moving the plurality of pins in a first axial direction. The control subsystem includes a controller operably connected to the plurality of actuators of each plate, such that the controller can communicate instructions to and/or obtain readings therefrom. The molding surface of each plate can be manipulated in response to pin movement to facilitate the manufacture of articles of different shape and dimension. Abstract: A fitting ring can be provided that is attachable to an edge of a liner for an acetabular shell. The fitting ring can include an alignment portion shaped or configured to engage a lip portion of the acetabular shell as the liner is inserted into the acetabular shell to center the liner and correct any pivoting of the liner relative to the acetabular shell. A driving force can be applied to the liner to drive the liner into the acetabular shell while the fitting ring guides the liner as the liner is inserted into the acetabular shell. Driving the liner into the acetabular shell can also cause the fitting ring to disengage from the liner.

Abstract: Systems and methods for building service templates that allow for an agentless, data-driven and stateful automation of a provisioning of services to mobile network customers. Data associated with a request to create a target schema object class for a device and protocol are received. Based on the device and protocol information, a set of data fields associated with CRUD semantics is retrieved from either a database or from user provided data. A decorated target object class is created based on the requested target schema object class. A subrecipe is created including the decorated target object class, and one or more other decorated target object classes. A recipe is processed for transmission to an execution engine to form a service instance, the service instance being customizable by an operator for a specific network device such that the service instance data fields that are not pre-filled can be customized by the operator.
Abstract: A power transient event detection system includes a first bank of photodetectors (PDs) located within a first node of an optical communication system. Each PD within the first bank of PDs has a different response time. The system further includes an output signal monitor that monitors signal output from each of the PDs in the first bank and that logs power transient event detection information. A transient event characterizer identifies, based on the logged event detection information, a subset of the PDs in the first bank that observed a power transient event, and determines a duration of the power transient event based on an amount of time that the signal output satisfies low signal criteria for at least one PD in the subset.

Abstract: Systems and methods to improve the optical character recognition of records, and in particular health records, are provided. An image of a medical record is received, and an initial optical image recognition (OCR) on the image is performed to identify text information. The OCR signal quality may be measured, and areas of insufficient OCR signal quality may be isolated. The signal quality is determined by a weighted average of semantic analysis of the resulting text, and/or OCR accuracy measures. The OCR process may be repeated on the isolated regions of lower signal quality, each time using a different OCR transform, until all regions are completed with a desired degree of signal quality (accuracy). All the regions of the document may then be recompiled into a single document for outputting.

Abstract: Data log-base logical block devices are used to control parameter-based versioning at a block-device level. Memory in the block device stores data log indicating data and corresponding metadata, the metadata indicating a particular historical time. The block device may receive a request, such as a remote procedure call (RPC), for data from the logical block device, and identify data included in the data log having metadata that matches or satisfies a historical time parameter included in and extracted from the request.
Abstract: A system encodes/compresses at least some portion of website data and transmits the encoded website data to a remote user. A storage device stores original website data representing an original webpage. Retrieval logic retrieves the original website data from the storage device. The retrieval may be responsive to a request from an electronic user device. A parser parses the original website data to detect and tag at least one type of website code within the website data. An encoder encodes the tagged website data and produces encoded website data representing the original website data. A transmitter transmits the encoded website data to the electronic user device. The electronic user device has previously been provided a decoder from the system to decode the encoded website data to recover the original website data. This allows the electronic user device to display the website on the electronic user device.
