Abstract: A method for evaluating operation of an electric submersible pumping (ESP) system is shown. The method includes receiving first sensor data from sensors monitoring operation of the ESP system. The method further includes using a physical model of the electric submersible pumping system to determine second sensor data. The method further includes processing the first sensor data and the second sensor data to determine an first system state as a function of operating time. The method further includes generating a degradation model and applying the degradation model to the first sensor data and the second sensor data to generate a time prediction. The method further includes adjusting operation of the electric submersible pumping system in response to the predictor of the time to failure of the components.

  • Patent number: 12165369
Abstract: Data compression techniques are described for saving memory space by using fewer bits to store information while achieving high fidelity. A data set may be partitioned into a plurality of regions. Locally varying numerical ranges of data values (e.g., the minimum and maximum extents) may be determined for the plurality of regions. The data in the individual regions may be encoded using a lower number of bits as interpolation values in reference to the local extents rather than being encoded using a higher number of bits as absolute values. Where there are multiple channels of data in the regions, the number of available bits for encoding the data may be dynamically allocated per region based on the relative degrees of variance in data among the multiple channels.

  • Patent number: 12161266
Abstract: The holder rests or attaches to the ledge of a sink and stores a tool such as a toothbrush in an inverted position to drain into the sink basin. The holder includes a base cooperating with a suction cup, a post with at least one notch, and an arm with slots to hold the tool handle. In most cases, a three-walled shield protects the stored tool from splashes or debris created in the sink during regular use. The angle of the tool holder advantageously encourages any liquid debris on the tool to drain away from the tool as it dries during storage. In one example, a toothbrush handle rests in the notch and contacts the arm extending over the sink. The cleaning head, bristles, razor, or other working end of the tool will desirably hang to enhance the hygienic storage of the tool. A cover protects the tool from splashes.

  • Patent number: RE50235
Abstract: A personal vaporizer has an atomizer module having a heating element and an atomizer cup for receiving vaporizing medium. A flow module is releasably attached to the atomizer module. The flow module intakes ambient air and directs the air into a vaporizing chamber at and adjacent the atomizer cup, where the air mixes with atomized medium to form a vapor. The vapor exits the vaporizing chamber via one or more exit passages defined through the flow module. Vapor is directed from the exit passages into a mouthpiece and further into the user's mouth.
