Abstract: A control arrangement for a vehicle includes an infotainment console having a first user interface. A wireless communication device is communicatively coupled to the infotainment console and relays wireless signals between the infotainment console and a portable computing device. The infotainment console interrogates the portable computing device regarding a configuration of a second user interface belonging to the portable computing device; receives responses to the interrogation from the portable computing device; and reconfigures the first user interface to substantially replicate a layout and functions of the second user interface.

Abstract: An apparatus for transporting a plurality of containers through a plurality of work stations including at least two conveyor assemblies, each conveyor assembly being adapted to sequentially convey at least one group of containers therealong in a row from one work station to another. The apparatus further includes a plurality of holder assemblies for holding the containers, some of the holder assemblies being associated with one of the conveyor assemblies and some of the holder assemblies being associated with the other conveyor assembly. The holder assemblies are located on the respective conveyor assemblies such that the plurality of containers are positioned adjacent to each other as they move through the plurality of work stations. A computer control system is programmable to control the coordinated operation of the conveyor assemblies so as to move such conveyor assemblies at different cycles of movement as the containers move through the work stations.

Abstract: A node in a wireless communication network comprises a processor that receives information regarding a first plurality of packets to be transmitted in an epoch, a first path of nodes for the first plurality of packets, and a first flow rate. The processor receives information regarding a second plurality of packets to be transmitted in the epoch, a second path of nodes for the second plurality of packets, and a second flow rate. The processor determines weights for the paths based on the flow rates. The processor assigns pipelines for the paths and creates groups of pipelines based on the weights. The groups may be assigned to a schedule.

Abstract: A connector has a housing with a fit-on tube that can fit in a hood of a mating connector. Terminal fittings are fixed to ends of wires and are held by the housing. A sealing ring is mounted on an annular holding groove on a peripheral surface of the fit-on tube and is disposed between the peripheral surface of the fit-on tube and an inner surface of the hood to seal a gap therebetween. Engaging grooves are formed in the peripheral surface of the fit-on tube. The engaging grooves intersect the annular holding groove and are deeper than a bottom surface of the annular holding groove. Rotation-stopping projections project from the sealing ring to extend along a direction in which the engaging grooves extend and each has an engaging claw that can fit on a bottom of one of the engaging grooves.
Abstract: A data processing system configured to process acquired image data (e.g., as part of a diagnostic imaging apparatus) uses a signal-power estimating unit for estimating signal power by using reference data containing data different from processing-target data and a data processing unit for processing the processing-target data by using a WF (wiener_filter) based on the signal power estimated by the signal-power estimating unit.

Abstract: A method of assisting failure mode and effects analysis of a system having a plurality of components includes obtaining data associated with a component, or a group of components, of the system. The component or the group is associated with component type data or group type data, respectively, that includes data relating to at least one failure feature common to all components or groups, respectively, of that type. The component/group data and the component/group type data can then be stored and/or transferred for use in a failure mode and effects analysis of the system.
Abstract: A keypad assembly includes a PCB, a light guiding board disposed on the PCB, a panel disposed on the light guiding board, a plurality of panel portions made of transparent material, set on the panel, a lighting device disposed on the PCB, and a sensing device disposed on the PCB. when an object touches or slides on/above the surface of the panel portion, the intensity of light sensed by the sensing device changes which causes the current of the four sensors to be changed, thus the sensing device generates a signal to complete a corresponding information input.
Abstract: AS-oligonucleotides are delivered in microsphere form in order to induce dendritic cell tolerance, particularly in the non-obese-diabetic (NOD) mouse model. The microspheres incorporate antisense (AS) oligonucleotides. A process includes using an antisense approach to prevent an autoimmune diabetes condition in NOD mice in vivo and in situ. Abstract: Guide projections (58) project out from an outer peripheral surface of a wire-deriving tube (52) of a wire-side housing (51). The guide projections (58) guide a shielding tube (71) of a shielding shell (70) in position with respect to the wire-deriving tube (52). Therefore in fixing the shielding shell (70) to a connector-mounting member (40), an inner peripheral surface of the shielding tube (71) contacts the guide projections (58) of the wire-side housing (51) to fit the shielding shell (70) on the wire-side housing (51) without dislocation.
