  • Publication number: 20100257144
Abstract: Systems and methods for data aggregation, targeting and acquisition are described. A method may receive data and storing the data in one or more source data tables and select one of the one or more source data tables. The selected source data table includes updated data fields. The method may also identify a plurality of destination data tables that need to be updated, in which each destination data table is linked to and contains an aggregation of a subset of data from the selected source data table, identify one or more data fields in the identified destination data tables that need to be updated with data from the updated data fields in the selected source data table, and determine using the processor, for each identified destination data table, a best aggregation source data table.

Abstract: A switching controller for a PFC converter is provided. The switching controller comprises a switching-control circuit, a current-command circuit, a programmable feedback circuit, a modulator, an over-voltage detection circuit, and a light-load detection circuit. The switching controller is capable of regulating a bulk voltage of the PFC converter at different levels in response to load conditions of the PFC converter. A turbo current eliminates a first voltage undershooting of the bulk voltage at the transient that the bulk voltage decreases to arrive at a second level from a first level. A voltage-loop error signal is maximized to eliminate a second voltage undershooting of the bulk voltage at the transient that the bulk voltage starts to increase toward the first level from the second level.

  • Publication number: 20100254059
Abstract: With a wire protection method in accordance with the present invention, the method being used for supplying electric power from a power source to a load, an applied-current to the load is detected every predetermined time, A wire rise temperature is calculated using the detected applied-current I(n) and by a relational expression concerning heat radiation and heat generation of the wire. The calculated rise in temperature is added to a reference temperature so that a wire temperature is estimated. When the estimated wire temperature is lower than a predetermined upper limit temperature, the calculation of the rise in temperature is repeated. When the estimated wire temperature has become equal to or higher than the predetermined upper limit temperature, the electric power supply from the power source to the load is stopped so that the wire is protected.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a scope carrier that contains a channel for a scope to be inserted therethrough. The scope can be coupled to the scope carrier so that during insertion of the carrier, the objective lens of the scope is used to guide the scope carrier. When the carrier is properly positioned, the scope can be released from the carrier and continue further through the body passages to the intended tissue or structure. The scope carrier can have a relatively much larger channel as a percentage of the carrier outer diameter than a typical scope. The carrier channel can be at least 50% of the scope carrier outer diameter. The carrier channel allows use of a larger scope to be inserted therethrough than has typically been available. The corresponding larger channel of the larger scope allows instruments to be inserted therethrough that heretofore have been unavailable in such combinations.

A target user may be known to own or operate a certain communication terminal (e.g., cellular phone). To identify additional terminals associated with this user, historical location indications are obtained for the known terminal. Each location indication indicates the geographical location of the terminal at a given time. The location indications of the known terminal are correlated with location indications of other terminals. When significant spatial correlation is found between the known terminal and another terminal, the other terminal is assumed likely to be associated with the same target user.
