Abstract: To allow more daylighting and protect against direct solar radiation, the system may include a window shading system that impacts an area (or area of interest). The system may adjust different window shades in different ways and for different periods of time to protect against a direct solar radiation onto an area of interest. The system may provide targeted shadows onto the area of interest. The system may also analyze or predict angles of solar rays that comprise the direct solar radiation and determine an impact of the solar rays on the area of interest, wherein the adjusting of window shades is based on the determining.

Abstract: A media management system that generates a plurality of values associated with a promotion impact measure for each of the promotional campaigns based on historical data that is acquired and an expected audience. Inventory unit needs are determined for each of the promotional campaigns that corresponds to a promotion inventory utilization of a plurality of inventory utilization types, based on at least the generated plurality of values. The determined inventory units for each of the promotional campaigns are utilized to dynamically allocate inventory from a defined amount of inventory units among each inventory utilization types to meet a plurality of defined parameters for the defined amount of inventory units for one or more specified durations until an end of the upcoming time-frame.

The storage manager control application may be implemented using a variety of modules that allow a user to interact with the storage manager in various ways. Using the storage manager control application, a user may view a backup status of the information management system, and view the backup status of specific client computing devices that are managed by the storage manager. The user may also search for various entities and/or objects within the information management system using the storage manager control application. In addition, a user may view the status of one or more backup jobs configured within the information management system, as well as backup plans that have been established for one or more of the client computing devices.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are devices, systems, and method for preconditioning lingual tissue for lingual orthodontic treatment, including the application of lingual braces. Protuberances may be affixed to the lingual surfaces of one or more of a patient's teeth prior to the introduction of an orthodontic appliance to allow time for the tongue to adapt to the presence of foreign structures. The protuberances may promote keratinization of the lingual tissue. The protuberances may be removed prior to the application of the orthopedic appliance. The protuberances can be pre-fabricated or fabricated in situ on the surfaces of the teeth. The protuberances may be any suitable material, including metal, polymer, or ceramic.

In an embodiment, a method for managing access to a data network includes determining a baseline timing parameter based on at least one first communication signal transmitted between a gateway and a terminal, determining a current timing parameter based on at least one second communication signal transmitted between the gateway and the terminal, calculating the difference between the baseline timing parameter and the current timing parameter, and restricting access of the terminal to the data network when the difference between the baseline timing parameter and the current timing parameter exceeds a delay threshold.

Abstract: The disclosure provides methods and compositions for affecting the development of antigen presenting cell (APC, e.g., a macrophage or dendritic cell). The methods include maturing an APC, promoting anti-inflammatory phenotype, promoting development of a T regulatory cell (Treg) from a naive T cell. The methods generally include exposing an APC to a tryptophan derived microbiota metabolite (TDMM), such as an anti-inflammatory or pro-mucosal TDMM, and permitting the APC to mature. In some embodiments, the conditioned APC is exposed to a naive T cell to further promote development of a T regulatory cell (Treg). In some embodiments, the TDMM is selected from the group consisting of indole, indole-3-acetate, 5-hydroxyindole, and indole-3-pyruvate.

Abstract: A restraint system for helping to protect an occupant of a vehicle having a roof and a cabin with a seat for the occupant includes an airbag mounted to the vehicle roof. The airbag has a stored condition and is inflatable to a deployed condition having a front-facing occupant receiving portion and an opposite rear-facing portion facing away from the occupant. The airbag has one or more connections with the vehicle roof, with the airbag and the connections being configured such that the roof serves as a reaction surface for supporting the airbag against movement in response to a forward moving occupant impacting the occupant receiving portion. The system is non-reliant on the rear-facing portion of the airbag engaging and using vehicle structure as a reaction surface for supporting the airbag against movement in response to the impacting occupant.

The client device can be configured to launch a connection to the first resource link from the client device using the first authenticated credentials stored on the client device.

Abstract: Systems and methods for Wi-Fi sensing are provided. Wi-Fi sensing systems include sensing devices and remote devices configured to communicate through radio-frequency signals. Sensing devices and remote devices are configured to communicate with one another to establish sensing transmission configurations through established protocols. Sensing devices described herein are configured to provide Wi-Fi sensing measurements based on the reception of messages transmitted from remote devices according to established configurations.

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide for a wirelessly controlled blocking apparatus to enable a single-point locking system for securing multiple access points. In accordance with certain embodiments, the wirelessly controlled blocking apparatus is utilized to secure an access panel of an enclosure, such as an electronics cabinet. In accordance with certain preferred embodiments, an electronics cabinet comprises a plurality of quarter-turn cam latches being installed on the access panel and configured to selectively secure the access panel to an opening of the enclosure.
