  • Patent number: 9066178
Abstract: A pre-out terminal that outputs a left outside audio signal can be fixed and an increase of the number of DACs is prevented. In the case that a surround back left audio signal SBL and a left outside audio signal LW are included, the signal SBL is amplified and output to a surround back left SP terminal 14a through a switch S13a. The signal LW is amplified and output to a left outside SP terminal 14b through a switch S13c. The signal LW is supplied from a DAC 11b to a left outside pre-out terminal 11d through a switch S11c. At this point, in order to supply the signal LW to the left outside pre-out terminal 11d, a DAC 11c is not used, but the DAC 11b is used. Accordingly, the DAC 11c can be used for another signal (ex., ZONE2) to decrease the number of DACs.

  • Patent number: 9066182
Abstract: A ZONE4 left audio signal Z4L is output without releasing a connection of a surround left speaker SSL. When determining that a playback of the ZONE4 left audio signal Z4L is set by a user manipulation, a controller 2 controls switches S11b and S13b in an on state, and controls switches S11a, S13a, and S13c in an off state. Accordingly, the ZONE4 left audio signal Z4L is supplied from a DSP to an amplifier 12a through the switch S11b, amplified by the amplifier 12a, and supplied to a surround back left/ZONE4 left SP terminal 14b through the switch S13b. A surround left SP terminal 14a is an output terminal dedicated to a surround left audio signal, so that the ZONE4 left audio signal Z4L can be output without releasing the connection of the surround left speaker SSL.

  • Patent number: 9032538
Abstract: A relay apparatus of a video and audio transmitting/receiving system delays a time before transmitting an authentication start instruction after an authentication start video signal being transmitted to a receiving apparatus. Accordingly, a problem that the receiving apparatus receives the authentication start instruction from the relay apparatus before locking the authentication start video signal and cannot perform authentication processing normally, leading to a failure in authentication. A correction time is decided based on a resolution of the authentication start video signal transmitted from the receiving apparatus and a combination of receiving apparatuses and transmitting apparatuses connected to the relay apparatus.

  • Patent number: 8935356
Abstract: A network audio system allows AV files existing in a PC to be readily registered and music to be reproduced using a client machine. The client machine is connected to the PC and a server application and a controller application are installed in the PC. Music is reproduced using the client machine based on an AV file existing in a user folder, when the user drags and drops an icon for the AV folder to an icon for the client machine. In response to the operation, the controller application produces music piece information including the artist name and the like based the tag information of the AV file. When the music piece information is not yet registered, the server application provides the music piece information with a music piece ID for registration in the content information database. The controller application transmits a command including the ID to the client machine.

  • Patent number: 8793609
Abstract: A controller for obtaining a contents list via a network, in which a contents list of scroll destination is quickly obtained when a scroll instruction is input, is provided. When the scroll instruction in the contents list is input by a user's operation, the controller sets a scroll list obtaining flag into an on state, and preferentially obtains contents information about the scroll destination. When the scroll list obtaining flag is set into the on state, the controller does not transmit a normal contents list obtaining request to a contents list transmitting apparatus. Since the controller transmits the normal contents list obtaining request after average response time passes, the controller can obtain the contents information about scroll destination in the contents list without delay.

  • Patent number: 8781406
Abstract: A receiving apparatus obtains identification information from a transmitting apparatus via a cable communication when the transmitting apparatus is connected with the receiving apparatus via the cable communication while the receiving apparatus is being connected with the transmitting apparatus via a radio communication. The receiving apparatus judges whether obtained identification information is the same as identification information of the transmitting apparatus which is connected with the receiving apparatus via the radio communication. When they are same, the receiving apparatus transmits an instruction to the transmitting apparatus to switch an output of contents data from the radio communication to the cable communication. When the transmitting apparatus receives the instruction, it switches the output of the contents data from the radio communication to the cable communication.

  • Publication number: 20140177872
Abstract: A frequency characteristics determination device that can prevent generation of a frequency response curve having an unnatural shape is provided. A CPU 11 sets pass points Pi and Pi+1 through which the frequency response curve of an audio signal should pass. Pi+1 of a frequency Xpi+1 which is higher than a frequency Xpi of the pass point Pi. The CPU 11 determines a direction point ai of a Bezier curve Ci for connecting the pass points Pi and Pi+1 based on the pass points Pi and Pi+1. The CPU 11 determines whether a frequency Xai of the direction point ai is within a reference range between not less than the frequency Xpi and not more than the frequency Xpi+1. When the frequency Xai is out of the reference range, the CPU 11 moves the direction point ai so that the frequency Xai is within the reference range.

  • Patent number: 8760887
Abstract: A current mirror circuit converts a positive-side supply voltage of a second power supply with respect to a reference potential into an electric current so as to supply the electric current to a current/voltage converting section. The current/voltage converting section converts the electric current from the current mirror circuit into a voltage with respect to the reference potential of a first power supply so as to supply the voltage to a feedback input terminal of a switching controller. Therefore, although the reference potential of the first power supply supplied to the switching controller is different from the reference potential of the second power supply, the electric current from the current mirror circuit is not influenced by the reference potential.

  • Publication number: 20140056444
Abstract: An amplifying device is provided that reduces power consumption and quickly starts amplification of an audio signal of a channel to be used. A control section 17 inputs a control signal for instructing operation or standby into post-amplifying sections 11b and 12b, and inputs a control signal for instructing standby to post-amplifying sections 13b and 14b. In the post-amplifying section 11b, when the control signal for instructing standby or operation is input from the control section 17, a modulation circuit 52 modulates the analog audio signal into a switching signal. An output stage circuit 54 amplifies the output signal. When the control signal for instructing the operation is input from the control section 17, a driving circuit 53 drives the output stage circuit 54 in response to the switching signal, and stops the driving of the output stage circuit 54 when the control signal for instructing standby is input.
