  • Publication number: 20130129112
Abstract: A transmitting apparatus transmits contents data of the same contents in the same reproducing positions to the respective receiving apparatuses at the same time. The receiving apparatuses specifies a reception start time at which contents data of next contents is first received, and adds a same delay time set in each of the receiving apparatuses to the reception start time so as to set a reproduction start time of next contents. The receiving apparatuses end the reproduction of the on-reproducing contents at the reproduction start time, and starts reproduction of the contents data of the next contents. Therefore, even when the reproducing positions slightly shift from each other among the receiving apparatuses during reproduction of the contents, the reproduction start times of the next contents can be synchronized with each other among all the receiving apparatuses.

  • Publication number: 20130111578
Abstract: A relay apparatus of a video and audio transmitting/receiving system delays a time before transmitting an authentication start instruction after an authentication start video signal being transmitted to a receiving apparatus. Accordingly, a problem that the receiving apparatus receives the authentication start instruction from the relay apparatus before locking the authentication start video signal and cannot perform authentication processing normally, leading to a failure in authentication. A correction time is decided based on a resolution of the authentication start video signal transmitted from the receiving apparatus and a combination of receiving apparatuses and transmitting apparatuses connected to the relay apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20130095766
Abstract: A receiving apparatus obtains identification information from a transmitting apparatus via a cable communication when the transmitting apparatus is connected with the receiving apparatus via the cable communication while the receiving apparatus is being connected with the transmitting apparatus via a radio communication. The receiving apparatus judges whether obtained identification information is the same as identification information of the transmitting apparatus which is connected with the receiving apparatus via the radio communication. When they are same, the receiving apparatus transmits an instruction to the transmitting apparatus to switch an output of contents data from the radio communication to the cable communication. When the transmitting apparatus receives the instruction, it switches the output of the contents data from the radio communication to the cable communication.

  • Patent number: 8413254
Abstract: When continuously reproducing a plurality of contents, a content reproducing apparatus determines whether or not a remaining time of an expiration date of a session key is shorter than a total reproduction time of the plurality of contents to be continuously content. When it is determined that the remaining time of the expiration date of the session key is shorter than the total reproduction time of the plurality of contents to be continuously reproduced, a new session key is acquired from a server, and then the plurality of contents are continuously reproduced, using the new session key. When it is determined that the remaining time of the expiration date of the session key is not shorter than the total reproduction time of the plurality of contents to be continuously reproduced, the plurality of contents are continuously reproduced, using the current session key without acquiring the new session key from the server.

  • Publication number: 20130079909
Abstract: When a media player reproduces a content identical to a content being reproduced by a renderer, the media player obtains, from the media renderer, content information of the content being reproduced by the media renderer. The media player then obtains a content list from a server, and specifies a content having content information identical to content information received from the media renderer as well as its position in the content list. As a result, a user can specify the content being reproduced by the media renderer, and can start reproduction without operating the media player and searching for the content.

  • Patent number: 8378791
Abstract: An image reproduction system includes a TV set, an AV amplifier connected to the TV set, and a plurality of image output devices, such as a DVD player, a set-top box and a game console, connected to the AV amplifier. The ID information of these image output devices is displayed as a list on the screen of the TV set. The user can select any one of the image output devices from the list by using a remote control, for example. The fact of the selection is transmitted to the AV amplifier from the TV set. Upon this, the AV amplifier connects the selected image output device to the TV set, so that the image signals reproduced by the selected device are sent to the TV set.

  • Publication number: 20120293256
Abstract: When a switching amplifier transitions into a power-off state, a switch is turned off and a power supply controller forcibly discharges a capacitor and forcibly reduces a reference potential with respect to a second power supply voltage. Since a logic power supply voltage reduces by the same amount as the reference potential, the logic power supply voltage from a viewpoint of the reference potential is fixed. A constant current circuit reduces a constant current according to the reduction in the reference potential with respect to the second power supply voltage, and reduces a first electric current and a second electric current. Before the logic power supply voltage from the viewpoint of the reference potential reduces, the first electric current and the second electric current are reduced, and an operation of a pulse generating unit can be ended in a normal state.

  • Patent number: 8300509
Abstract: A movement device of a recording determination apparatus moves a pickup in a radial direction of an optical disc. The pickup irradiates laser light to the optical disc to output an electric signal, based on reflected light from a laser spot. A control device acquires address information relating to an arrangement position of the laser spot, based on the electric signal. The control device controls the movement device to move the laser spot from a data area to a recordable area. The control device determines whether or not data is recorded in the recordable area, based on the electric signal until a reference time has elapsed from a border potion between the data area and the recordable area, the border portion being specified based on the address information.

  • Publication number: 20120267956
Abstract: A current mirror circuit converts a positive-side supply voltage of a second power supply with respect to a reference potential into an electric current so as to supply the electric current to a current/voltage converting section. The current/voltage converting section converts the electric current from the current mirror circuit into a voltage with respect to the reference potential of a first power supply so as to supply the voltage to a feedback input terminal of a switching controller. Therefore, although the reference potential of the first power supply supplied to the switching controller is different from the reference potential of the second power supply, the electric current from the current mirror circuit is not influenced by the reference potential.

  • Patent number: 8289076
Abstract: When an output voltage from the amplifying circuit includes a positive DC voltage, an electric current continuously flows in a power source voltage, a load, and a reference voltage in this order. As a result, the reference voltage increases so as to be a first threshold voltage or more . The detecting section detects that the reference voltage is the first threshold voltage or more. When the output voltage from the amplifying circuit includes a negative DC voltage, an electric current continuously flows in the reference voltage, the load, a grounding potential in this order. As a result, the reference voltage reduces so as to be a second threshold voltage or less. The detecting section detects that the reference voltage is the second threshold voltage or less.
