In one aspect the method comprises (a) receiving a phone call from a calling party, (b) determining an action to be performed by the device among a predetermined list of actions related to the handling of a phone call, as a function at least of identity information about the calling party, and (c) performing the determined action for handling the phone call. The device may be programmable and mobile, e.g., a smartphone.

Abstract: The disclosed technology relates to a method for managing a multimedia session between a calling terminal and at least one called terminal. In one aspect, the multimedia session comprises a pre-call setup phase and a call phase. According to the disclosed technology, the method comprises, during the pre-call setup phase, a reception of an INVITE message generated by a calling terminal. The INVITE message comprises a description field describing the multimedia session and containing information relating to a set of media streams. A response is generated to the INVITE message, wherein the response comprises a header containing at least one media type and at least one first call parameter applicable to at least one media stream of the media type, among the set of media streams.

Abstract: The present invention is a motion detection system that will consistently report detected movement, while reducing the number of false reports. The motion detection system includes a receiver and a dual sensor motion detector. The dual sensor motion detector utilizes sensors mounted in a weatherproof chassis. The dual sensors are located at the same vertical height in the weatherproof chassis and separated by a predetermined distance from the center of the chassis. Each sensor is rotated at an angle away from the center of the chassis. Each sensor has a coverage area dictated by its viewing angle (or field-of-view) and viewing distance. By utilizing dual sensors, a user can set the dual sensor motion detector to an AND operation or an OR operation. Motion is detected when both sensors detect movement simultaneously or motion is detected when any one of the two sensors detects movement.

The system includes a plurality of reactive charge transfer units connected with the plurality of cells, a first control unit and a second control unit. The first control unit is configured to determine a state of charge of the plurality of cells, determine a reference value associated with the battery, identify an overcharged cell or a discharged cell in the battery, and determine a charge differential between state of charge of the overcharged cell or the discharged cell and the reference value associated with the battery. The second control unit is configured to arrange charge transfer between the overcharged cell or the discharged cell, and remaining pack of cells in the battery. Abstract: Methods, devices and systems for efficient 3D printing that address conventional inefficiencies while utilizing a single compact device are set forth. Some embodiments utilize a circular-shaped build area revolving symmetrically around a single center point utilizing a continuous helical printing process. In some embodiments, vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers (VCSELs) are utilized as an energy source for curing the print material. The VCSELs can be integrated with the print head and can form an array which can be staggered or linear. In some embodiments, the VCSELs (and the corresponding print head)can be connected to a rotating platform, which can rotate independently from the revolving build area. In some embodiments, a thermoelectric cooler and/or a fluid cooler can provide cooling to the VCSELS.
