Abstract: A method of auditing at least one virtualized resource deployed in a cloud computing network, implemented by an administration device in respect of the at least one resource, able to administer virtual network functions, the virtual infrastructure or the network services. The method includes: storing a set of rules of the audit which are associated with the at least one virtualized resource; receiving from the at least one virtualized resource a message including an item of information about an event arising on the virtualized resource; correlating the item of information received with the set of stored rules; and if the correlation is positive, sending, to a recording device, a command message for writing at least one datum linked to the item of information received in a data register associated with the at least one virtualized resource.

Abstract: A robotic manipulator for handling an object is provided. The robotic manipulator includes a first robotic arm and a first end effector coupled to the first robotic arm. A movement of the first robotic arm orients the first end effector with respect to the object. The robotic manipulator includes a housing, a first conveyor operably coupled to the housing, a second conveyor operably coupled to the housing at an angle with respect to the first conveyor, and a first actuation mechanism. The first and second conveyors are arranged to form a top surface and the bottom surface respectively of a spatula-shaped base. The first actuation mechanism operates the first and second conveyors in one of a first direction and a second direction to manipulate the object. The operation of the first conveyor is independent of the operation of the second conveyor.

Abstract: A method and a device for downloading an audiovisual content from a data network. A description file describing the sub-dividing of the audiovisual content into a set of segments includes at least two pieces of information representative of respectively two segment download paths, each piece of information representative of a download path being associated with a network interface, and at least two network interfaces being distinct. The downloading device obtains at least one piece of information on distribution of requests for downloading segments by network interface, and for at least one segment of the audiovisual content to be downloaded, it selects a network interface from among the network interfaces associated with the download paths included in the description file, as a function of the information on distribution of requests obtained. A segment download request is then sent via the selected network interface.

Abstract: Predicting a channel between a transceiver and a connected vehicle having a “main antenna”, dedicated to exchanges of payload data with the transceiver, and a “predictor antenna”, placed in front of the main antenna to predict the radio channel dealt with by the main antenna when reaching the current position of the predictor antenna. The method includes: selecting, using an estimate of the vehicle's speed and acceleration, for a multiplet of channel samples measured at the main antenna, a multiplet of channel samples measured at the predictor antenna, each sample of the predictor antenna being selected to correspond to a sample of the main antenna subsequently measured at the same position; calculating a criterion associating multiplets of samples measured at the main and predictor antennas; and selecting samples of the predictor antenna using a speed/acceleration pair optimizing the criterion, to predict the channel between the transceiver and main antenna.

Abstract: The invention relates to a technique for managing a right of access to a network for a communicating device (20). The communicating device detects a connection to a charging unit (10) and transmits a charging request to a processing device (30). This charging request comprises an estimate of a requested amount of energy and a battery identifier. On receiving charging agreement, the communicating device supplies the battery identified by the charging unit with power according to the agreed amount of energy. The right of access of the communicating device to the network is extended in the network according to the agreed amount of energy.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for modelling of individual acoustic transfer functions relative to the audition of an individual in three-dimensional space. A method is provided for modelling sets of acoustic transfer functions specific to an individual according to a multiplicity of directions in space, where a set of acoustic transfer functions specific to the individual in a given direction is determined depending on the result of a statistical analysis of a plurality of distinct stimuli emitted in the direction of the individual. A stimulus can be dependent on at least one set of predetermined acoustic transfer functions that are associated with the given direction, and on responses received from the individual to each emitted stimulus.
