Abstract: Some embodiments relate to a method implemented by a first terminal for setting up a session with a second terminal. An identifier of a session server is obtained at least from a subscriber device in the first terminal which comprises a subscriber identifier and an operator identifier. A session request and an identifier of the second terminal are sent to the server. At least one instruction is received from the server and a message comprising a first set, relative to the first terminal, of at least one characteristic parameter of the requested session is generated in accordance with at least one instruction received and sent to the server. A message is received from the server comprising a second set of at least one characteristic parameter of the requested session, the second set relating to the second terminal and having a non-zero overlap with the first set.

Abstract: The invention concerns a method for transmitting a piece of digital content consisting of a plurality of data packets to a mobile terminal (10), via a communication network (20), in which a management device (30) implements the obtaining (E11, E23, F8, F33), from the communication network, of at least one piece of information related to the bandwidth available on at least one link of the network to the mobile terminal, the selection (E12, E24, F10, F34), depending on said piece of information related to the bandwidth, of an encoding rate (RES) to use for at least one of said data packets, and the sending (E14, E25, F16, F38), to a device intended to provide the digital content (41), of a message indicating the selected encoding rate, in order to instruct the equipment intended to provide the digital content (41) to transmit, to the mobile terminal, at least one of the data packets, encoded with the selected encoding rate, on one of the network links.

Abstract: A method for decoding a data stream representing a multi-view video, including coded data representative of at least one sub-image, including texture data and depth data associated with the texture data, the sub-image including at least one zone, referred to as a useful zone, for generating an image of a view. An indicator is decoded, indicating whether the sub-image is coded according to a first method or a second method. When the indicator indicates that the sub-image is coded according to the first method, a binary map is decoded indicating for at least one pixel of the sub-image whether the pixel belongs to the useful zone. The texture and depth data of the sub-image are decoded, when the indicator indicates that the sub-image is coded according to the second method, the depth data of the sub-image for the pixels situated outside the useful zone including a decoded depth value.

Abstract: A method for filtering an original communication, being generated by a caller device toward a called device, and identified by an uncertified caller identity and by at least one certified caller identity. The method includes: verifying a condition satisfied if the uncertified caller identity and the at least one certified caller identity are different; and if the condition is satisfied, detecting expiry of a waiting duration following the verification, this duration being equivalent to the duration of at least one ring; and following the expiry and if no message is detected indicating the end of the original communication, presenting to the called device the original communication with at least one caller identity from among the uncertified caller identity and the at least one certified caller identity, the original communication not being presented to the called device before the detection.

It may comprise allocating to an interferer terminal attached to the cell and identified by the base station as being capable of interfering with at least one communication established by this terminal or to a neighbor cell an open temporary network identifier shared by a predetermined number of interferer terminals attached to the cell and a code making it possible to identify the interferer terminal among these interferer terminals, publishing this identifier, sending to the interferer terminal, in at least one configuration message, of the open temporary network identifier and the code and inserting this code, in a field of a physical control channel allocating resources for transmitting over the cellular network to the interferer terminal, this physical channel being encoded using the open temporary network identifier and emitted on the network.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a tire pressure sensor burning device for burning at least one tire pressure sensor having or being externally inputted an exclusive code and a joint code. The tire pressure sensor burning device includes a burning tool in which a communication protocol is stored, and the burning tool includes a transmitting unit connected with the tire pressure sensor and sending a switch command thereto for switching the mode of the tire pressure sensor from the exclusive code to the joint code. The burning tool sends a burning command to the tire pressure sensor with the transmitting unit, and unilaterally burns the communication protocol into the tire pressure sensor via the joint code.

Abstract: Processing acoustic signals to detect sound sources in a sound scene. The method includes: obtaining a plurality of signals representative of the sound scene, captured by a plurality of microphones of predefined positions; based on the signals captured by the microphones and on the positions of the microphones, applying a quantization of directional measurements of sound intensity and establishing a corresponding acoustic activity map in a sound source localization space, the space being of dimension N; constructing at least one vector basis of dimension less than N; projecting the acoustic activity map onto at least one axis of the vector basis; and searching for at least one local peak of acoustic activity in the map projection, an identified local peak corresponding to the presence of a sound source in the scene.

Abstract: A method for configuring a first network node using a first autonomous system (AS) number in at least one session established with another node according to a dynamic routing protocol is described. The method is implemented by the first node and includes receiving a configuration message comprising at least one piece of information that is representative of a second AS number intended to be used by the first node as a replacement for the first number, configuring the first node with the second AS number, identifying at least one second node having at least one session according to the dynamic routing protocol, active with the first node, in which the first node is associated with the first AS number, and sending a control message to the at least one second node requesting the replacement of the first AS number with the second AS number by the at least one second node, such that, after the replacement, the first node is associated with the second AS number in the at least one active session.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for managing sharing of a message of a first type through a communication network. The method includes, following selection of a sharing command from an interface for reproducing the first message of the first type, integrating content of the first message of the first type into a second message of a second type to be transmitted through the communication network, the second type being distinct from the first type. Thus, a message of a first type can be shared by using a messaging of a distinct type, for example an email can be shared by SMS, MMS, instant messages, Tweet (registered trademark), etc.

Abstract: A method for redirecting a communication request sent by a caller terminal to a called terminal, an identifier of the caller terminal being absent from a list of identifiers of caller terminals for which the establishment of a communication with the called terminal is authorized or blocked, referred to as a white list or black list, respectively. The method includes: redirecting the communication request to a redirection terminal associated with the called terminal, distinct from the called terminal; receiving an instruction message, including the identifier of the caller terminal and an instruction relating to the white list or to the black list, depending on the instruction received, adding the identifier of the caller terminal to the white list or to the black list.

Abstract: A movable operator station is disclosed. The movable operator station includes a first base plate, a second base plate, and a first support unit. A multi-tier structure is slidably coupled to the first base plate and is slidable in “X” axis between first and second positions. The second base plate is slidably coupled to the first base plate and is slidable between third and fourth positions. The first support unit is slidably coupled to the second base plate and is slidable along the “X” axis. A set of linking members links the first multi-tier structure to the first support unit. The set of linking members extends or collapses based on a movement of the second base plate along the “Y” axis. The first support unit and the set of linking members form a second multi-tier structure when the second base plate is at the fourth position.

Abstract: An inventory management system comprising at least one storage unit, first and second robotic apparatus, and a control server. The control server receives a handling request for handling one or more inventory items stored in the storage unit and communicates a first set of instructions to first robotic apparatus to cause the first robotic apparatus to transport the storage unit from an inventory storage area to a processing area. The control server further communicates a second set of instructions to second robotic apparatus to cause the second robotic apparatus to receive the inventory items and transport the received inventory items to an operation area. The control server further communicates a third set of instructions to the second robotic apparatus to cause the second robotic apparatus to align with an identified target platform for transferring the transported inventory items to the identified target platform.

Abstract: A method for decoding a data stream representative of an image split into blocks. The method includes: for a current block, determining whether the size of the current block is less than or equal to a threshold, and if so, decoding information indicating a coding mode of the block among first and second coding modes, and reconstructing the current block according to the indicated coding mode, and otherwise reconstructing according to the first coding mode. According to the first coding mode, the current block is reconstructed using an inverse transform of a transformed prediction residue decoded for the current block, and according to the second coding mode the current block is reconstructed, for each pixel, by obtaining a prediction of the pixel from another previously decoded pixel belonging to the current block or to a previously decoded block, and reconstructing the pixel from the prediction and a decoded prediction residue.

Abstract: A system and method for facilitating communication between a control server and robotic devices are provided. An integration engine of the system identifies protocol schemes and message schemes that are supported by the control server and robotic devices. When the protocol schemes and message schemes of the control server and the robotic devices are same, the integration engine facilitates transmission and reception of instructions between the control server and the robotic devices through identified communication interfaces. When the protocol schemes and message schemes of the control server and the robotic devices are different, the integration engine translates the protocol schemes and message schemes that are received from one of the control server and the robotic devices to facilitate communication between the control server and the robotic devices through identified communication interfaces.

Abstract: A method for processing messages by a device of a Voice over IP (VoIP) network. The method includes, following receipt of a message initiating a VoIP call coming from a terminal: determining whether the message contains a public telephone identity allocated to a user by the VoIP network; if so, triggering setting-up the VoIP call with a recipient of the message; otherwise: setting up a VoIP channel between the terminal and a voice server hosted by the device; obtaining, by the server via this channel, an authentication code of a user of the terminal; if the authentication code is associated at VoIP network level with a public telephone identity allocated by the network to a user, providing to the terminal the public telephone identity and authentication data associated at VoIP network level with this identity for making VoIP calls and being authenticated to the VoIP network.

Abstract: A method for managing reception of digital contents by a management device suitable for receiving a command for selecting a content, termed the main content, arising from a control device. The management device is suitable for requesting reception of the main content and of other digital contents, termed secondary contents. It is also suitable for receiving the data streams representative of the requested contents, and for requesting the retrieval of the main content. According to the method, in the course of retrieval of the main content, a detection of an activity related to the control device triggers a request suitable for requesting reception of the secondary contents.

The connected objects, known as client objects, have at least one functional attribute. The method includes: obtaining an identifier of the group and an encryption key of the group); assigning the group at least one connected object according to at least one functional attribute of the connected object; obtaining an encryption key of the object; encrypting the encryption key of the group using the encryption key of the object; transmitting the identifier of the group, and the encrypted encryption key of the group to the at least one connected object.
