Abstract: A method for managing, in a reader terminal, streaming of a televisual content, called the main content, and of a navigation interface concomitantly from a telecommunication network, the navigation interface has regions including contents representative of real-time televisual contents available for selection, which contents are called secondary contents. The method includes the following steps, in the multimedia-stream reader terminal: receiving a command to display the navigation interface; and transmitting a request to access secondary contents of the interface, the request including a datum representative of a type of secondary contents to be streamed, the chosen image type taking into account a datum related to the streaming of the main content.

Abstract: A management method implemented by a transmission device capable of communicating via a radio link with a piece of gateway equipment of a telecommunications network and configured for communicating with a network server of the network. The method includes: receiving a management request of a terminal capable of communicating via the radio link with a piece of gateway equipment of the network and having established a communication session with the network server, at least one session key being shared between the terminal and the network server, the management request containing an identifier of the terminal and the session key; intercepting, following reception of the management request, at least one message sent by the terminal; and transmitting, in response to the message, at least one response message encrypted with the session key received. A transmission device implementing the method is also provided.

Abstract: Communication by messages such as provided by the mobile telephony standard, Rich Communication Services (RCS), is described. A method for exchanging messages implemented by a user terminal capable of transmitting a message via one of a first network and a second network is described, the method including, when the terminal of the user is in a second transmission mode for a contact terminal, triggering a failover of the user terminal in a first transmission mode for the contact terminal, as soon as a notification is received at the terminal of the user of connecting to the first network of the contact terminal coming from a messaging server on the first network. Thus, returning to using the first network by the user terminal only depends on one single message: the connection notification, and the exchanges for determining the capacities of the terminal of the contact are reduced, since this notification is only sent when the connection of the contact terminal to the first network is effective.

Abstract: An iterative method and device for detecting an approximate area occupied by computer code of a core of an operating system in a memory, the area including one or more ranges. The method includes: detecting at least one target address in the memory; determining a first area delimited by two of these target addresses; disassembling these areas at least into a part determined during the previous iteration; detecting target addresses pointed to in the disassembled areas; and searching for an additional memory range starting after the second target address obtained on the last iteration and including only computer code.

Abstract: A method for activation or deactivation, for a terminal, of a virtual subset of a telecommunications network referred to as a “network slice”, dedicated to a service. The telecommunications network includes a plurality of network slices. The method includes: acquiring at least one piece of context data of a user; and activating or deactivating at least one network slice among the plurality of network slices on the basis of the previously acquired piece of context data.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for measuring glycated A1c hemoglobin. A glycated hemoglobin level measuring system includes a sample testing apparatus having a microchannel that compresses a blood sample traveling through, a first pair of electrodes coupled to the microchannel, and a second pair of electrodes coupled to the microchannel. The glycated hemoglobin level measuring system further includes an analysis apparatus having sensors coupled to the first and second pairs of electrodes and configured to calculate a travel time taken by a red blood cell to pass through the first and second pairs of electrodes. The glycated hemoglobin level measuring system can use the travel time to measure a rigidity of the red blood cells and the corresponding glycated hemoglobin level.

Abstract: A method and device for encoding an image divided into blocks. The image contains two separate zones. The method implements the following: only in the event where the current block pertains to one of the zones of the image: encoding the current block using a prediction, the current block being predicted using a previously encoded and then decoded block located in the other zone of the image, the blocks of the other zone having been previously encoded and then decoded, and encoding information indicating the application of the prediction; and for any decoded block pertaining to the other zone of the image, storing the decoded block data.

Abstract: A permanent data indicator and managing and adapting methods are provided. In particular, the permanent indicator is a pictogram permanently present on a screen of a terminal in active mode. The permanent indicator relates to a second datum and being able, furthermore, to form a permanent indicator relating to a first datum distinct from the second datum, the first datum being delivered by a first process implemented by the terminal. Thus, a given indicator is able to permanently inform the user of an active terminal of the value of the distinct datum, for example the permanent pictogram of a clock will indicate the time but also the time remaining to the next alarm, the weather forecast for the next 12 or 24 hours, air-quality, etc. The management of the permanent indicators will therefore be optimized.

Abstract: A method and device for encoding and a method and device for decoding a signal including encoded data representing an image sub-divided into blocks, and information representing a correction block and a residual block. For a current block of the image, a first pixel is encoded from a prediction value obtained for the first pixel from at least one pixel of a previously rebuilt block. The prediction is corrected using at least one value of a pixel of the correction block. At least one current pixel of the current block is encoded from a prediction value obtained for the current pixel from at least one previously corrected pixel of the current block. The prediction is corrected by using at least one value of a pixel of the correction block, delivering a prediction block for the current block. The residual block is computed from the current block and the predictive block.

Abstract: A vehicle message managing method includes: providing an operation message of a tire through a tire sensor; receiving the operation message through the tire sensor setting tool, or receiving at least one outer message through the tire sensor setting tool; transmitting at least one of the operation message and the outer message to a remote server; storing and analyzing at least one of the operation message and the outer message and generating an analyzing result.

Abstract: A method and a system for traversing a planned path in a marked facility are provided. A transport vehicle transits from a first location to a second location in the marked facility for traversing the planned path. The first and second locations are indicated by first and second location markers, respectively. The transport vehicle records a movement pattern of the transport vehicle, while transiting from the first location to the second location. The transport vehicle halts at an intermediate location when the transport vehicle fails to detect the second location marker at the second location. A first path traversed to reach the intermediate location from the first location is retraced by the transport vehicle based on the recorded movement pattern. On reaching the first location, the transport vehicle re-attempts to transit from the first location to the second location.

Abstract: Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB) nodes communicate with one another in half-duplex mode. Such a multiplexing of the communications of the IAB node requires simultaneous execution of a “mobile terminal” function and of a “base station” function by the IAB node. However, these two functions are not synchronised with one another, resulting in a lack of temporal alignment between the data communicated with the parent node and the data communicated with the child node, which causes interference that negatively impacts the quality of the communications between the different IAB nodes involved. Existing solutions suffer from long data processing times and are expensive. Accordingly, a time offset is introduced during the processing of the data by the child node, in order to take into account the lack of synchronisation between the “mobile terminal” function and the “base station” function of the current node.

Abstract: A method for managing HTTP adaptive streaming of digital content within a real-time multimedia stream player terminal, associated with a terminal for rendering the digital content. The method includes obtaining a description file for the digital content, including a list of time segments of the content each associated with a plurality of content encoding rates; and downloading time segments at one of the encoding rates. The method implements a concomitant rendering, by the rendering terminal, of the digital content and of an element, called main element, belonging to a group including a menu and other digital content. The method implements, during the downloading step, a partial downloading of a preliminary portion of at least some of the time segments, and a rendering, for a duration of one of the time segments, of a picture decoded from the preliminary portion of the corresponding time segment.

Abstract: Artificial intelligence (AI) based computer systems and methods are disclosed for autonomously creating customer service help guides via a graphic user interface (GUI). Computing instructions operating on processor(s) are configured to automatically crawl digital product categorie(s) and create action script(s) derived therefrom. The action script(s) comprise user directive(s) for completing user task(s) on a computing device and software application configured to render a GUI. A natural language understanding (NLU) model associates the action script(s) with text of the user task(s). The action script(s) are tested against completion criteria to output success result(s). An AI model is trained on the action script(s), the text of the user tasks, and the completion criteria. A client device of user may request assistance with a given task, and may render, in response, graphic-and-text display(s) associated with a relevant action script (as determined by the AI model) on a GUI of the client device.
