Abstract: The invention relates to a method for manufacturing insulating troughs for pipes, especially pipe bends. According to the method semicircular portions of a pair of concentric cutting blades having radii of curvature corresponding to the outer diameter of the insulating trough and the outer diameter of the pipe respectively, are applied with their cutting edges in a vertical plane against one edge of a board of insulating material, the blades are set in motion in their circumferential direction and advanced through the material of the board along a path corresponding to the desired shape of the insulating trough. An apparatus for carrying out the method is also disclosed.

Abstract: The present invention relates to loading equipment comprising a hook-device type arm construction which includes a rear frame, a middle frame, and an angle piece. An upper end of the vertical part of the angle piece is provided with a hook for engaging a corresponding grasping component at the front wall of the exchange platform. The rear frame of the loading equipment and the base construction of the exchange platform are provided with jointly operative locking arrangements for locking the exchange platform onto the loading equipment. The rear frame of the loading equipment is provided with safety catches placed at each side of the rear frame and arranged so that, when the exchange platform is being dumped, they pivot into the locking position, in which they prevent shifting of the exchange platform backwards in relation to the loading equipment, but the safety catches are opened when the rear frame is turned to the horizontal position.

Abstract: The invention relates to a hydraulic motor with two cylinder sets of different diameters and with a slide valve for directing a pressure medium simultaneously to both cylinder sets or to either one of them. In order to achieve smooth shifting from one driving state to another, the slide valve comprises means for connecting the pressure openings of the disconnected cylinder set to a space wherein return pressure prevails, whereby the pistons of the said cylinder set passively will follow the rolling space of the cam ring of the motor. The valve structure further comprises means for connecting the pressure openings of both cylinder sets with the said space of return pressure, if the work pressure of the motor approaches the return pressure.

Abstract: A hydraulic motor with two sets of cylinders, the diameters of the two cylinder sets being of different dimension in order to produce three speed ranges. The pressure medium is directed to either both cylinder sets, the cylinder set of larger diameter of the cylinder set of smaller diameter by means of a valve structure comprising sliding spindles arranged in the hollow center axle of the motor, the pressure force of the pressure medium being utilized for moving the valve spindles.

Abstract: Equipment for loading an exchange platform onto a vehicle includes a rear frame pivotally mounted to the rear of the vehicle and a middle frame pivotally mounted on the rear frame. An angle piece has a horizontal portion pivotally mounted to the middle frame and a vertical portion with a grasping device at its upper end. A cylinder for operating the loading equipment is connected between the vehicle and the middle frame. In addition, a link arm and/or a second cylinder is provided between the vehicle and either the rear or middle frames to enable the exchange platform to be raised above the vehicle in a horizontal position.

Abstract: Loading equipment which is suitable for loading exchange platforms of two different platform frame widths onto a truck chassis or dumper frame and for unloading the exchange platforms from same. The loading equipment comprises a locking mechanism for securing the exchange platform onto the frame of the loading equipment automatically in connection with the pulling-on step of the exchange platform. The rollers at the rear end of the truck are wide enough that the inner ends of the rollers are suitable for a rolling base of the frame beams of exchange platforms with narrow platform frame width and the outer ends of the rollers are suitable for a rolling base of the frame beams of exchange platforms with wide platform frame width. Abstract: Apparatus for loading a container onto a truck or trailer, and for dumping the container, includes a first frame pivotally attached to the rear of the truck or trailer and a second frame pivotally mounted on the first frame. An L-shaped member is pivotally mounted on the second frame, and its pivotal movement is controlled independently of the pivotal movement of the two frames by a piston and cylinder arrangement. The path of movement of the grasping end of the L-shaped member is twice the length of the section of the member that is connected to the second frame, to enable different sized containers to be transported and dumped in different positions on the truck or trailer.
