  • Patent number: 7269977
Abstract: A floss blowing and heat dissipating apparatus for high speed circular knitting machines includes an annular duct located beneath a circular frame plate and an airflow generator to generate pressurized air. The annular duct has a passage inside and an air intake connector located thereon communicating with the passage, and a plurality of air vents close to a cylinder and straddle seats communicating with the passage. The airflow generator generates the pressurize air which is delivered to the air intake connector through an air directing hose so that the passage delivers the pressurized air to the air vents to eject the pressurized air forcefully towards the straddle seats, the cylinder and needles of a circular knitting machine where the floss is most likely to accumulate to carry away the floss. It also can reduce the temperature generated by the friction between needle troughs and needles to achieve optimal cooling effect.

  • Patent number: 7222815
Abstract: The present invention discloses a doffing apparatus of a high-speed high-stand fabric take-up device, which is applicable to a fabric take-up device having a higher fabric-storage volume. The doffing apparatus has safety pins and control handles in the side-frame casings of the fabric take-up device. Via shifting the control handles to change the relative positions of the safety pins, the safety pins can be inserted into the rod shafts of the fabric-winding rod so that the coupling between the drive wheels and the rod shafts can be enhanced and the safety of a fabric-winding operation can be promoted. Further, hydraulic cylinders are installed between the side-frame casings of the fabric take-up device and the support brackets sustaining the fabric-winding rod. Via the hydraulic cylinders providing a buffer force for the support brackets, the support brackets can rotate and descend slowly, and the safety of a fabric-doffing operation can be promoted.

  • Patent number: 7209733
Abstract: A method and system for processing negotiable economic credits (e.g., cash, credit card, enterprise incentives/award such as frequent flier miles, etc.) through a hand held device. Credits are storable in the form of credit data in a credit database associated with a point of sale and/or hand held device. Credit is retrievable from the credit database, in response to synchronizing a hand held device, such as a PDA, wireless PDA, paging device, cellular telephone, or other hand held computing device, with the point of sale. Credit data may be transferred to/from the hand held device, thereby permitting a user to maintain and manage enterprise credits based on the credit data, utilizing the hand held device. In one embodiment, when a particular number of enterprise credits have been earned, the user may utilize such credits to receive price discounts on enterprise products or services, or awards of such products or services.

  • Patent number: 7194430
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a system for implementing a sequence for sales and provision of information at a retail establishment or in a similar area where a local radio communication is established between a central computer unit (30) and mobile terminals (20), equipped with bar code readers. For implementation of the sequence, the unit (30) first receives an initiation order from a terminal (20), transmitted via a telecommunication network via a second unit (40) at a service provider. The telecommunication is then disconnected, and local radio communication is employed for the communication between the customer's terminal and the shop's unit (30). A unique identification is created for the sequence, and a registration list is established associated with the sequence. The unit (30) further receives data input by means of the bar code reader in the terminal (20), comprising information (101) concerning each item.

  • Patent number: 7152436
Abstract: A circular knitting machine provides sinkers that are moved in an inclined manner in the sinker troughs to position yarn laps and prevent the sinkers from hitting yarn feeding plates. The sinker has a nose section to hold the yarn laps at a horizontal high point to prevent the yarn laps from slipping, and has a throat section which has a horizontal first end surface and a belly section with an inclined second end surface in order to keep the knitting needles and sinkers moving smoothly during a knitting operation. The yarn feeding plate has a dodging edge on a distal end, the dodging edge being formed in a shape corresponding to the movement track of the sinker and having a slanted surface at the front end thereof, so as to avoid hitting the sinker when the sinker is moved in the sinker trough in an inclined manner.

  • Patent number: 7127920
Abstract: A knitting machine for manufacturing plush fabrics includes latch-less cylinder needles in a cylinder, latch needles located on a needle dial and a cutting unit. The loop formed by a plush thread can be directly knitted in a fabric formed by ground threads to form a longer plush on the fabric surface. By changing the dimension of the needle dial, the interval of the peripheral edge of the needle dial and the cylinder needle can be increased so that the plush thread held on the hook of the cylinder needle can be stretched by the latch needle to become a longer loop. Finally, the loop is severed by the cutting unit to form a plush fabric of a longer plush.

  • Patent number: 7117692
Abstract: A yarn guide of a knitting machine assists a knitting machine to weave a fabric having a yarn ring surface and comprised of a base yarn for forming a base fabric and a wool yarn for forming a yarn ring surface. A needle disc is shifted to enter the wool yarn and the base yarn respectively into a yarn hooking section and a first yarn hooking position of a needle latch. The needle disc continues shifting such that the base yarn is entered into a second yarn hooking position of the yarn hooking section. A knitting needle includes a yarn guide plate on a side so that the first yarn hooking position continues pressing the base yarn by the yarn guide plate. The second yarn hooking position drives the base yarn to weave the wool yarn into the base fabric under a counter wrap knitting status.
