Abstract: A portable shelter may be provided with ground assembly, flex poles, and a cover assembly. The ground assembly may include a ground sheet or pad having rigid elements, such as metal ground poles along opposite sides. The ground poles may extend through sleeves on the ground sheet. The ends of the flex poles can be attached to fittings on the ends of the ground poles, with the flex poles flexed into an arc when the shelter is set up. The cover assembly includes a flexible cover made for example of fabric effective at blocking sunlight. Flex pole attachment devices, such as snap-on clamp fittings, may be spaced apart along opposite ends of the cover for attaching the cover onto the flex poles. Ground pole attachment devices may be spaced apart along opposite sides of the cover for attaching the cover to the ground poles.
Abstract: A restraint device for controlling the head of a driver during a high-performance vehicle collision. The device includes a support member having a back portion and shoulder portions that extend at least partially over the shoulders of the driver; a tether for attaching the support member to the driver's helmet; and at least one anchor strap attached at one end to the support member and at the other end to the vehicle's seat belt assembly, driver's truck, and/or driver's legs, which serves to anchor the device and oppose forward and rearward movement of the driver's head during a collision event, reducing the likelihood of injury. The shoulder portions are configured to engage the vehicle's shoulder belts, which improves the restraint device's ability to resist forward movement and downward rotation of the driver's head that is caused by a collision event.

Abstract: A heat dissipating device for lightings includes a light source module, a heat sink, and a converter. The heat sink has a substrate and a plurality of heat dissipating fins extending outward from the substrate. A plurality of channels is formed between the heat dissipating fins. Insides of the channels respectively have a port open to the center of the heat sink. Thereby, the channels of the heat sink can effectively direct the airflow into the center of the heat sink, enhancing the heat dissipating effect of the heat sink.
