Abstract: A folding canopy chair includes a frame, a seat, a back, and arm rests. An umbrella is secured to the frame and is pivotal between an upright use position extending above the chair and a downward storage position adjacent the frame. The umbrella is pivotal about both a horizontal axis and a vertical axis for selective positioning of the umbrella relative to the chair, so as to shade a person sitting in the chair from the sun. The umbrella may be non-symmetrical, and removably mounted on either the left or right side of the chair.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a Carnallite salt preparation useful in edible products, such as a food, beverage, dietary supplement, oral care, nutraceutical pet food, animal feed, pharmaceutical and other edible products. The Carnallite salt preparation of the invention is without high levels of sodium chloride and notably low in bromide. The Carnallite salt preparation may be a food grade product with dietary acceptable bromide levels. The present invention further relates to edible products comprising the Carnallite salt preparation, such as reduced sodium food products.

Abstract: A tolerance ring (10) for providing an interference fit between inner and outer components (36, 50) is disclosed. The tolerance ring (10) comprises a deformable band having a plurality of radially extending projections around its circumference, wherein the projections include a set of axially spaced protuberances (12, 13) separated by a unformed region (11) circumferentially adjacent to an axially elongate protuberance (15), the axial extent of which spans the axial extent of the set of axially spaced protuberances. This arrangement of protuberances facilitates the transfer of retention force to a component that is composed of a plurality of independent parts, e.g. two or more bearings (54, 56) separated by a spacer (58).
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a process for the production of a polysiloxane-polyorgano block copolymer. The process includes reacting a reaction mixture containing (a) an ester-functional polydiorganosiloxane and (b) a bisphenolic compound or a bisphenolic compound oligomer. This process has the advantage of yielding block copolymers with controlled block structures and avoiding the impurities that may be carried over from the conventional hydroxyaryloxy-terminated-polydiorganosiloxanes. Also disclosed are ester-functional polysiloxanes and polysiloxane-polyorgano block copolymers prepared by the process of the invention. These copolymers exhibit advantageous properties such as improved low temperature properties, improved rheological properties during molding, improved clarity, chemical, scratch resistance, and improved electrical insulation properties.
