Abstract: A method and system is provided in an adaptive framework for modeling livestock growth. The adaptive framework processes input data relative to livestock growth in an ensemble of one or more models and an artificial intelligence layer configured to select the most appropriate or primary model to optimize, predict, and recommend livestock feed operations based upon environmental, physiological, location and time variables within such input data. The adaptive framework also optimizes workflow by pen and by producer, based upon historical performance, gender and breed and the management practices of the producer.

Abstract: An assembly includes an adjustable dip tube that can selectively withdraw an isolated component at various heights within a vessel. The adjustable nature of the dip tube can improve the cell recovery rate as compared to conventional cell recovery assemblies. Additionally, the assembly can take advantage of the adjustable nature of the dip tube while maintaining an aseptic interior cavity of the assembly.
Abstract: Filter capsules for showers and sinks used in surgical settings, clean rooms and other contaminant-sensitive settings having modified outlets for improved splash control. Flat, concave, convex, asymmetric concave and asymmetric convex outlet inserts have pluralities of fluid bores with varying orientations to permit enhanced fluid flow control out of the filter capsules including divergent, convergent and mixed divergent/convergent fluid flows. An inlet with an axis offset at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the filter capsule body permits user control over the fluid flow strike point in a sink or shower stall via rotation of the capsule about the inlet connection point. A recessed outlet improves the prevention of contaminant dispersal by recessing the outlet away from contact points and potential contaminant sources.

Abstract: A method for retiming digital telecommunications data received by a digital logger from a plurality of T-carrier type telephone lines respectively having differing clock sources ensures efficient transmission of received digital audio data to a host computer via a Universal Serial Bus (“USB”) interface. Also the digital logger includes volatile memory for temporarily storing digital audio data received from the plurality of T-carrier type telephone lines for: 1. ensuring that the host computer receives digital audio data correctly via the USB interface; 2. buffering the digital audio data within the digital logger during interruptions in transmission of digital audio data from the digital logger via the USB interface; and 3. reducing audible latency of speech communications.

Abstract: A method for making a specialty fiber by activating pulp in an alkaline aqueous medium, then reacting it a water-soluble, multi-functional reagent able to bridge neighboring cellulose chain within a single fiber. The resultant specialty cellulose fibers have high intrinsic viscosity and may be used to make cellulose ethers, cellulose acetate, and viscose.
Abstract: A thermally conductive silicone composition is shown and described herein. The thermally conductive silicone composition comprises (A) an ionically modified siloxane, and (B) a thermally conductive filler comprising a first filler and a second filler, where the first filler and/or the second filler comprises a plurality of filler types, the plurality of filler types differing from one another in terms of particle size and/or morphology. The ionically modified siloxane may function as a dispersing aid or wetter for efficient dispersion of thermal conducting organic and inorganic fillers to achieve high thermal conductivity.
Abstract: The present invention relates to wireless networks and more specifically to systems and methods for selecting and implementing communication parameters used in a wireless network to optimize communication between access points and client devices while accounting for effects of adjacent networks. In one embodiment, the present invention includes a Wi-Fi coordinator device that receives packet information from devices within wireless range of the Wi-Fi coordinator. The Wi-Fi coordinator sends the packet information to a cloud intelligence engine which then time shifts the packet information and combines the packet information with other packet information. Using this integrated packet information, the cloud intelligence devices determines the access point settings to improve the operation of the network.
