Abstract: The present invention addresses to a catalyst, and the method for obtaining the same, for generating hydrogen and/or syngas. More specifically, the present invention describes a catalyst based on nickel, molybdenum and tungsten, for steam reforming processes of natural gas or other hydrocarbon streams (refinery gas, propane, butane, naphtha or any mixture thereof) that presents high resistance to deactivation by coke deposition. According to the present invention, the catalyst has NiMoW as its active phase, in bulk form and/or supported on an alumina oxide and other high surface area oxide supports, and may also contain other promoters. Furthermore, the present invention teaches the production of a catalyst whose active phase of NiMoW has high activity for hydrocarbon steam reforming reaction.

Abstract: This invention relates to a diverter acid fluid composition for use in the stimulation of oil wells during exploration thereof, named Quovadis. The invention is used as a diverter acid fluid for the stimulation of oil wells during matrix acidification. The role thereof is to improve the efficiency of processes of stimulation of wells by acid treatment allowing the fluid to come into contact with regions of low permeability of the carbonate rock matrix, i.e., regions of difficult access. The invention also removes permanent formation damage around the well, allowing for greater coverage of the treatment and, consequently, better use of the treatment.

Abstract: The invention presents a system and method for reducing pressure and draining the annulus of submerged flexible pipes, with application in all flexible pipe structures and in any industry that uses these types of pipes. Its objectives are to eliminate condensed water and reduce the partial pressure of CO2, thus restoring the integrity of the pipes. In addition, with the reduction of the pressure of the annulus gases, the operations of collection of the pipes can be carried out with greater speed, that is, in less time. The previous relief of the annulus pressure further reduces the risk of rupture of the outer cap during the operation, thus reducing the risk of exposing operators to the presence of harmful gases, when the pipe reaches the deck of the PLSV vessel.

  • Publication number: 20220356799
Abstract: The present invention is used to compose the structure of a system that operates inside pipelines. It can be used in a robotic system in the form of a train to move tools inside small diameter tubes or ducts. It avoids the need for costly commercial connectors with limited variety of connections. The proposed solution is to partition/separate the electronic or hydraulic components into pressure vessel modules, thereby making it necessary to provide an adequate means of interconnection between said modules by means of an elastomeric conduit. Each module has a heat exchanger system (sink) to remove the heat generated by the electronic equipment installed inside thereof. The product of the invention has a sufficient degree of freedom to move in ducts and underwater pipes, where the hydrostatic pressure is extremely high.

  • Publication number: 20220307322
Abstract: The present invention refers to a method of drilling a marine wellbore with fluid reverse circulation without using drilling riser tubulars. In reverse circulation drilling, the fluid return with gravels occurs inside the drill string (17) and the injection of clean fluid is done through the annular of the well, so that, having a rotating head over the BOP (19), or inside it, the use of riser tubulars as a flow line for the fluid return with gravels is disposed, using instead the drill string (17). For the kill and choke lines, as well as for fluid injection, rigid or flexible lines can be used, eliminating the need to use drilling risers, thus releasing large load capacity and space on the probe. The method of this invention also eliminates the need for large volumes of fluid to fill entire riser tubulars. The entire operation can be done without the need for subsea pumps or concentric columns.
