    Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus for salt precipitation and scaling tests, which comprises two reagent storage tanks (2, 3), a reagent mixing module (6), induction period measurement modules (7, 12), an ultrasound-assisted precipitation module (9) and a scaling module with heat exchanger (13). From the apparatus, it is possible to carry out tests with the purpose of investigating the influence of parameters such as flow rate, temperature and concentration on salt precipitation and scaling. It is further possible to carry out tests under the action of ultrasound, since it promotes acceleration of chemical reactions.

    Abstract: The present invention refers to a method of drilling a marine wellbore with fluid reverse circulation without using drilling riser tubulars. In reverse circulation drilling, the fluid return with gravels occurs inside the drill string (17) and the injection of clean fluid is done through the annular of the well, so that, having a rotating head over the BOP (19), or inside it, the use of riser tubulars as a flow line for the fluid return with gravels is disposed, using instead the drill string (17). For the kill and choke lines, as well as for fluid injection, rigid or flexible lines can be used, eliminating the need to use drilling risers, thus releasing large load capacity and space on the probe. The method of this invention also eliminates the need for large volumes of fluid to fill entire riser tubulars. The entire operation can be done without the need for subsea pumps or concentric columns.

    Abstract: The present invention is related to artificial lifting systems and production flow assurance from subsea oil wells. In this sense, the present invention provides an integrated subsea oil heating and pumping system hydraulically actuated by heated injection water, the system comprising at least one recoverable pumping module (3) connected to a subsea base (6) which, in turn, receives the produced fluids from at least one subsea producing well (1). The subsea base (6) is connected to a production unit (10) through a riser (8) through which the produced oil flows and to an injection line (7) that feeds the pumping module (3) with water which, after activating the turbine (15) and pump (16) set, is injected through at least one injection well. The present invention further provides a hydraulically actuated subsea pumping method associated with the system described above.

    Abstract: The present invention deals with catalysts for the conversion of CO by the shifting reaction of high temperature water gas, free from chromium and iron, consisting of alumina promoted by potassium, by zinc and copper oxides and in a second embodiment also additionally nickel. The catalysts thus prepared maintain high CO conversion activity, not having the environmental limitations or operating limitations with low excess steam in the process, which exist for catalysts in accordance with the state of the art. Such catalysts are used in the hydrogen or synthesis gas production process by the steam reforming of hydrocarbons, allow the use of low steam/carbon ratios in the process, exhibiting high activity and stability to thermal deactivation and lower environmental restrictions for production, storage, use and disposal, than the industrially used catalysts based on iron, chromium, and copper oxides.

    Abstract: The present invention refers to a mandrel assembly for chemical injection in use in an oil well production string where the water depth can reach 3,000 m, exerting extreme hydrostatic pressures on the mandrel. The mandrel assembly is capable of dosing the chemical fluid flow rate to avoid some types of unwanted situations in the production string, mainly related to fouling. It has the characteristic of not using injection valves having small diameters, causing the annular space between the mandrel body and the inner part to ensure greater space for the flow of chemical fluid, thus reducing the likelihood of a possible plugging.
