    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a control system for a projection system, including a first subtractor receiving an input drive signal and a feedback signal and generating a first difference signal therefrom, the feedback signal being indicative of position of a quasi static micromirror of the projection system. A type-2 compensator receives the first difference signal and generates therefrom a first output signal. A derivative based controller receives the feedback signal and generates therefrom a second output signal. A second subtractor receives the first and second output signals and generates a second difference signal therefrom. The second difference signal serves to control a mirror driver of the projection system. A higher order resonance equalization circuit receives a pre-output signal from an analog front end of the projection system that is indicative of position of the quasi static micromirror, and generates the feedback signal therefrom.

    Abstract: A Fourier-transform hyperspectral imaging system may include an optical imaging system configured to produce an image of an object, and an adjustable birefringent common-path interferometer module comprising a movable birefringent element and configured to produce interfering replicas of an input radiation which are delayed from each other by a phase delay adjustable by the moving birefringent element. The interferometer module may be configured to produce collinear replicas for entering optical rays parallel to said optical axis. The hyperspectral imaging system further comprises a two-dimensional light detector configured to receive the replicas and provide digital images of the object depending on said adjustable phase delay. The system also includes an analysis device configured to perform a Fourier Transform of the digital images to obtain a hyperspectral representation of the object.

    Abstract: A test bench assembly for simulating cardiac surgery includes a passive heart having at least one pair of cardiac chambers with an atrial chamber and a ventricular chamber. A reservoir is adapted to house working fluid. A pressure generator fluidically connects both to the ventricular chamber of the passive heart and to the reservoir. A pressure regulation device provides working fluid in input to the atrial chamber with preload pressure, and working fluid in output from the ventricular chamber with afterload pressure. The pressure regulation device fluidically connects both to the atrial chamber of the passive heart and to the ventricular chamber of the passive heart. The pressure regulation device has a single compliant element for each pair of cardiac chambers, which provides working fluid with both preload, and afterload pressures.

A magnetic actuator is configured to generate a variable magnetic field and oscillate the magnetic particles to cause variation of the refraction index probed by the optical radiation in the sensible area, and a variation of at least one characteristic parameter of the output optical radiation correlated to a concentration of the molecules of the analyte.
