    Abstract: There is provided an analysis method whereby, when a proposed plan for deforming a resin molded article is created, it is possible to create a more effective proposed plan in a short time. In an deformation state analysis method of analyzing, for a resin molded article to be deformed, a deformation state of the resin molded article by optimizing an objective function under a prescribed restraint condition and a prescribed limiting condition, using a topology optimization method dividing the resin molded article into micro regions, the restraint condition is a trend of the amount of deformation of the resin molded article, the prescribed limiting condition is a contribution rate expressing an extent to which deformation of each micro region contributes to deformation of the resin molded article, and in the optimization of the objective function optimization is performed so as to minimize rigidity of the resin molded article.

    Abstract: A high-quality polyacetal produced by a process including supplying a raw material comprising trioxane, a comonomer capable of copolymerizing with trioxane and a non-volatile protonic acid to a reactor of a continuous stirring/mixing machine type; carrying out a polymerization reaction of the raw material to produce a reaction mixture; vaporizing an unreacted monomer to separate the unreacted monomer from the reaction mixture and supplying the unreacted monomer to the raw material supplying; collecting a polyacetal copolymer from the reaction mixture into a collection unit which is arranged downstream from a discharge port and is adjusted to have a gauge pressure of 0.2 kPa or more; and adding a basic compound to the collected polyacetal and then subjecting the resultant mixture to a melt-kneading treatment to deactivate the non-volatile protonic acid.

    Abstract: A polyarylene sulfide-derived resin composition which has flowability optimal for insert molding and which can impart superior high- and low-temperature impact properties to a molded body, and an insert-molded body using the resin composition. The resin composition includes a polyarylene sulfide resin having carboxylic terminal groups, an olefin-derived copolymer, glass fibers and calcium carbonate. The weight-average molecular weight of the polyarylene sulfide resin is 15,000-40,000; as copolymerization components, the olefin-derived copolymer includes ?-olefins, glycidyl esters of ?,?-unsaturated acids, and acrylic esters, and the content of the copolymerization component derived from the glycidyl esters in the resin composition is 0.2-0.6 mass %. Further, the fiber diameter of the glass fibers is 9-13 ?m, the average particle diameter of the calcium carbonate is 10-50 ?m, and the total content of glass fibers and the calcium carbonate is 45-55 mass % of the resin composition.
