Abstract: The invention relates to a water-soluble container which contains a composition useful for hard surface cleaning. The composition comprises at least one surfactant selected from non-ionic surfactant, anionic surfactant, and mixtures thereof, at least 70% wt. of at least one organic solvent having a solubility in water of at least 4% wt., optionally at least one alkanolamine; and optionally, conventional additives. The water soluble containers can be made by thermoforming or injection molding.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a cageless lavatory dispensing device comprising a hanger (10) and a compressed solid block (50). The hanger (10) has a hook end (20) for suspending the dispensing device to a sanitary-appliance, and the compressed solid block (50) comprises at least one chemical agent. A process for delivering a treatment composition to a sanitary appliance is also disclosed. Said process comprises the steps of: providing and suspending a cageless lavatory dispensing device within the sanitary appliance; periodically flushing water about the exterior of the compressed block to elute at least one chemical constituent to form a treatment composition with said water, which treatment composition provides cleaning and/or sanitizing and/or disinfecting benefit to the sanitary appliance.

Abstract: Improved highly aqueous, alkaline hard surface cleaning compositions useful in the cleaning of hard surfaces, particularly hard surfaces bearing greasy stains or soils. Preferred compositions comprise amine oxide as the sole surfactant constituent, an alkalinity constituent, preferably an alkanolamine and as the sole organic solvent constituent, an alkylene glycol phenyl ether, and water, optionally further including a dye and/or fragrance composition. The compositions provide excellent cleaning of greasy soils on hard surfaces.

Abstract: Foamed two-part hard surface treatment composition which is formed by the admixture of two aqueous compositions, particularly (a) an aqueous alkaline composition comprising a bleach constituent, with (b) an aqueous acidic composition comprising a peroxide constituent, which compositions are kept separate, but which are admixed immediately prior to use or upon use to form a foamed hard surface treatment composition. The foamed two-part hard surface treatment composition are particularly useful in the cleaning of hard surfaces. Preferred foamed two-part hard surface treatment composition provide both a cleaning and sanitizing or disinfecting benefit to hard surfaces, while releasing little or no free chlorine gas to the ambient air.
