Abstract: The present invention is directed to a sprayable, acidic hard surface cleaning and/or disinfecting composition which contains suspended inclusions which appear as visibly discernible, discrete particulate materials, preferably where said discrete particulate materials are based on alginates. The composition contains a thiclcener which comprises both gellan gum and Xanthan gum.
Abstract: The invention relates to a water soluble container which contains a composition useful for hard surface cleaning. The composition comprises a cationic surfactant having germicidal properties, a short chain non-ionic surfactant, optionally, polyethylene glycol; and optionally, conventional additives, where the composition contains less than 25 percent water. The water soluble containers can be made by thermoforming or injection molding.

Abstract: Hard surface cleaning composition which is particularly well adapted for the cleaning treatment of flooring surfaces, particularly finished wood flooring, finished wood veneer flooring and finished non-wood flooring surfaces including laminate flooring surfaces.
Abstract: Improved treatment blocks useful in the treatment of lavatory appliances, particularly toilets are provided. The improved treatment blocks are solid block compositions which comprise at least one detersive surfactant, a diester constituent, and one or more further optional constituents, including bleach constituents. The improved treatment blocks provide improved processing and handling characteristics. Methods of producing the solid block composition and treatment blocks therefrom, as well as methods of use are also disclosed.

Abstract: Improved hard surface cleaning compositions having an acidic pH provide good removal of soap scum stains. Compositions of the present invention comprise an acidic constituent which comprises either citric acid alone or citric acid in combination with an acid selected from the group consisting of sorbic acid, acetic acid, boric acid, formic acid, maleic acid, adipic acid, lactic acid, malic acid, malonic acid, glycolic acid, and mixtures thereof; at least one anionic surfactant; at least one thickener; at least one scrubbing agent; one or more optional constituents; and the balance water; wherein the aqueous hard surface cleaning composition exhibits a pH of 6.0 or less.
