Abstract: The present invention relates to thickened pourable aqueous bleach composition which contains abrasives, suitable for use in cleaning hard surfaces such as are found, for example, in lavatories and kitchens which are highly alkaline.
Abstract: Disclosed are aqueous liquid thickened cleaning and/or disinfecting composition comprising: an alkaline source; at least one surfactant selected from anionic surfactants, non-ionic surfactants, and mixtures thereof; at least one thickener selected from polysaccharides, polycarboxylates, polyacrylamides, clays, and mixtures thereof; a solvent selected from alcohols, glycol ethers, and mixtures thereof; at least one abrasive material optionally, one or more materials selected from perfumes and perfume stabilizers, builders, rheology stabilizers; pH and buffering agents, electrolytes, pigments, colorants and the like. Also disclosed are processes for cleaning and/or disinfection of surfaces, especially hard surfaces, wherein the presence of Gram positive type pathogenic bacteria and/or Gram negative type pathogenic bacteria are suspected.

Abstract: Improved hard surface cleaning compositions having an acidic pH, providing good removal of soap scum stains, and further feature low levels of irritability to the user. The compositions comprise about 0.1-10% by weight of an acid sequestrant constituent; about 0.1-10% by weight of a mixture of hydrophobic and hydrophilic solvents; about 0.001-1% by weight of a single constituent which exhibits both anionic surfactant and hydrotrope properties; about 0-20% by weight of one or more optional constituents; the balance to 100% by weight of water, wherein the aqueous hard surface cleaning composition exhibits a pH of 7 or less, especially a pH of about 5 or less. Although acidic, the improved hard surface cleaning compositions feature low irritability to the eyes and skin of consumers. The compositions also provide disinfecting effects.
Abstract: Aqueous disinfecting and cleaning compositions and concentrates which are efficacious against gram positive and gram negative bacteria, have relatively low volatile organic content (“VOC”) and are surprisingly mild to the user of the compositions. The compositions include a quaternary ammonium compound as its primary germicidal active agent, have a low content of active constituents, and do not include organic solvents such as alcohols, glycols, or glycol ethers in significant amounts.
