    Abstract: A modem is provided for a wireless device that is capable of providing service for at least two SIMs. The modem has at least a first set of modem components and a second set of modem components. The modem selectively reconfigures the arrangement of the plural sets of modem components. In a first configuration, the first set of modem components provides wireless connection service for a first SIM of the wireless device and the second set of modem components provides wireless connection service for a second SIM of the wireless device. This allows active wireless connections to be made on behalf of both SIMs simultaneously by the sets of modem components. In a second configuration, the first set of modem components and the second set of modem components provide wireless connection service for the first SIM.

    Abstract: Systems and techniques for managing channel reservation in a full-duplex wireless network. A transmitting node sends a media access control frame to a receiving node, including an integrity check field in a header of the frame. Upon performing an integrity check and determining that the media access control frame is addressed to itself, the receiving node sends a transmission so as to reserve the channel. If the receiving node has no data to send, the transmission may be an acknowledgement field, and if the receiving node has data to send, the transmission may he a media access control frame including an integrity check field in a header of the frame.

A calibration for the sleep clock is calculated based on the fast clock. A quality value for that new calibration is determined. If the quality value of the new calibration is higher than a quality value of an old calibration, the new calibration is used, and, if not, the new calibration is discarded and the old calibration is used. Alternatively or in addition, the length of time until the next calibration is estimated. It is then determined whether the new calibration is of sufficient quality to last for the estimated time until next calibration, and, if not, the calibration measurement period is extended.

    Abstract: The present invention introduces a method, an apparatus and a computer program product for mitigating effects of alias responses in a transceiver, by selecting a clock rate for an analog-to-digital converter based on a determined maximum conversion rate of the ADC. The selected conversion rate places an alias response of the unwanted signal component to a frequency range which is substantially non-overlapping with a wanted signal component of the receiver. Furthermore, a temperature of the transceiver may be measured e.g. by a temperature compensation unit of a reference oscillator. Furthermore, a data table may be used by a processing unit for linking temperatures with maximum conversion rates of the analog-to-digital converter. The method is implemented in the processing unit of the transceiver which is further configured to execute the operations of the corresponding computer program product according to the invention.
