Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for providing a realistic 2D/3D AR experience service based on a video. Particularly, the present invention provides a method of providing a realistic AR service with high quality based on AR by using a 2D video image and 3D information in association thereto at the same time, filming a cybernaut and AR content by using two sensors having viewpoints different from each other, and arranging 2D/3D content being an object to be matched within the AR content and which has a 3D position different to a position of the cybernaut in association with a dynamic 3D position of the cybernaut and with a dynamic viewpoint of a service sensor.

Abstract: A synthetic peptide that targets cancer stem cells is provided. The peptide consists of the amino acid sequence of anyone of SEQ ID NO: 1 to SEQ ID NO: 15. Also provided is a composition comprising said synthetic peptide with a therapeutic agent fused thereto, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or diluent. Further provided is a method of screening a peptide specifically targeting to a cancer stem cell. The method comprises the steps of establishing an oligopeptide library by using a phage expression system, contacting the library with a culture of bulk tumor cells of a cancer cell line, contacting the phages which do not bind to the bulk tumor cells with a culture of cancer stem cells of said cancer cell line, and screening a peptide specifically targeting to a cancer stem cell from the phages which bind to the cancer stem cells.

Abstract: A vehicle assessment analyzer is in communication with a vehicle, via the vehicle network computer and the vehicle communication bus. The vehicle assessment analyzer obtains the vehicle VIN from the vehicle and transmits the VIN to a vehicle assessment analytics server. The vehicle assessment analytics server then determines assessment readings to be performed on the vehicle, such as individual electronic sensors therein, to generate an overall vehicle assessment as compared to other vehicles of similar make, model, etc. These assessment readings are sent to the vehicle assessment analyzer which obtains the associated data and transmits the data back to the server for generation of the overall vehicle assessment. The assessment readings may query the vehicle network computer via standard assessment readings, and heightened assessment readings, and may also query the vehicle communications bus directly thereby obtaining any desired electronic information available from the vehicle.

Abstract: A GPU simulation method. An instruction sequence of a client GPU is intercepted in a kernel state simulator based on system virtualization and GPU using principle, and a mechanism is selected according to user configuration to accomplish simulation of the client GPU. In first mechanism, instruction translation is accomplished on low-level semantics based on a binary translation technology, and instructions are executed on a host GPU; in second mechanism, instruction conversion is accomplished using an existing GPU software stack, and instructions are executed on host GPU. The method provides an efficient simulated GPU for a virtual machine based on a host machine physical GPU, and solves the problem of slow GPU simulation. Based on a system virtualization technology and by virtue of a convenient condition provided by an existing GPU software stack, the GPU simulation speed is improved, and the implementation difficulty and complexity of the method are effectively controlled.

Abstract: A process for treating sulphate containing effluent, which includes receiving a sulphide containing effluent into a two-phase fluidised bed reactor containing particles and floating media, permitting calcium carbonate from the effluent to precipitate on particles in the first fluidised bed reactor, aerating the solution in the reactor to remove CO2 from the solution, thereby to increase the pH in the reactor, permitting biological sulphide oxidation to occur on the floating media by means of sulphide oxidizing bacteria thereby to produce elemental sulphur, recycling the fluidised bed reactor at a sufficient rate to effect abrasion to remove elemental sulphur from the floating media, harvesting the sulphur from a top portion of the reactor, recycling hydroxyl ions internally in solution in to enhance calcium carbonate precipitation by further increasing the pH.
