  • Patent number: 12061480
Abstract: A mobile robot can be caused to move according to a planned trajectory. The mobile robot can be a vehicle. Information about agents in an environment of the mobile robot can be received from sensors. At a first time, a spatiotemporal graph can be produced. The spatiotemporal graph can represent relationships among the agents in the environment. The mobile robot can be one of the agents in the environment. Information from the spatiotemporal graph can be input to neural networks to produce information for a mixture of affine time-varying systems. The mixture of affine time-varying systems can represent an evolution of agent states of the agents. Using the mixture of affine time-varying systems and information associated with the first time, a prediction of the agent states at a second time can be calculated. The mobile robot can be caused to move according to the planned trajectory determined from the prediction.

  • Patent number: 12062453
Abstract: Disclosed herein are bacterial protease-activated prodrug compositions and methods of their use for the treatment and prevention of bacterial infection. Also disclosed are methods of reducing or eliminating defiant bacterial populations. An exemplary prodrug composition includes a cationic antimicrobial peptide conjugated to an anionic peptide with a protease cleavable linker substrate, wherein the antimicrobial peptide is inactive while it is in conjugation with the anionic peptide. Upon cleavage by the protease, the cationic AMP is released from the anionic peptide and can act upon bacteria. The protease is specific to the bacteria that are present in the sample or the subject, creating an auto-titrating mechanism wherein the AMP is released from the peptide only when there is bacteria present.

  • Patent number: 12060403
Abstract: The present disclosure provides compositions and methods for decreasing permissiveness to infection by PRRSV. The methods involve inserting peptides or oligopeptides into the CD163 SRCR domain 5 to disrupt the protein structure and thereby prevent PRRSV infection. The deletion of the exon 13 region of PSTII eliminates infection. The replacement of cysteine residues with alanines in SRCR5 as a means to disrupt disulfide bond formation. The final method is the deletion of, or amino acid substitution within the SRCR4-5 interdomain region.

  • Patent number: 12063442
Abstract: A movable camera travels along an inspection path for optically inspecting an inspection surface of an object for defect detection. In planning the inspection path, a set of viewpoints on the inspection surface is generated. Each viewpoint is associated with a patch, which is a largest area of the inspection surface within a field of view (FOV) of the camera when the camera is located over the viewpoint for capturing an image of FOV. An effective region of the patch is advantageously predicted by a neural network according to a three-dimensional geometric characterization of the patch such that the predicted effective region is valid for defect detection based on the captured image. A valid area is one whose corresponding area on the captured image is not blurred and is neither underexposed nor overexposed. The inspection path is determined according to respective effective regions associated with the set of viewpoints.

  • Patent number: 12062169
Abstract: A multi-functional, computer-aided gastroscopy system optimized with integrated AI solutions is disclosed. The system makes use of multiple deep-learning neural models to achieve low latency and high-performance requirements for multiple tasks. The optimization is made at three levels: architectural, modular and functional level. At architectural level, the models are designed in such a way that it is able to accomplish HP infection classification and detection of some lesions for one inference in order to reduce computation costs. At modular level, as a sub-model of HP infection classification, the site recognition model is optimized with temporal information. It not only improves the performance of HP infection classification, but also plays important roles for lesion detection and procedure status determination. At functional level, the inference latency is minimized by configuration and resource aware optimization.
