Abstract: A method and system for tracking use of audio and audiovisual works is described. Known are converted into a time series of frequency domain signatures. As the system detects unknown works transmitted or otherwise available for analysis, the unknown works are converted into a time series of frequency domain signatures and then the sequence of signatures matched in the database of known works. When a known work is found to have signatures that meet a matching test with an unknown work, a database is updated to reflect that the unknown work is an instance of the known work. The system includes a remote detector that receives unknown content and generates signatures that are transmitted to another location for where the matching is performed.

Abstract: A wideband intelligent jamming control apparatus and method is provided, which efficiently control an unauthorized threat signal. The wideband intelligent jamming control apparatus includes a signal detection terminal for detecting and analyzing wideband frequency signals in real time, and transmitting a jamming command and jamming signal specification information if a corresponding wideband frequency signal is determined to be an unauthorized threat signal. A jamming terminal receives the jamming command and the jamming signal specification information, and generates and emits a jamming signal based on the jamming command and the jamming signal specification information. The signal detection terminal and the jamming terminal may be configured to be physically separated from each other and may be controlled on a network.

Abstract: The growth of continuous MOF membranes on porous polymeric supports is reported, wherein a dip-coating procedure is used to deposit a layer of seed MOF nanocrystals on the surfaces of porous polymers, preferably in the form of hollow fibers, and polycrystalline MOF membranes are subsequently grown at temperatures as low as 65° C. from precursor solutions. The present work opens the road to inexpensive and scalable fabrication of MOF membranes for large-scale separation applications.
