Abstract: Methods and devices for modified coding of blocks of residuals in the case of transform skipping. To better align the data with assumptions upon which the entropy coding scheme is based, the block of residual data is permuted at the encoder prior to entropy coding. The block of reconstructed data is then inverse permuted at the decoder to recover the reconstructed block of residuals. The permutation may include 180 rotation of the block, which may be of particular benefit in the case of intra-coded residuals.

Abstract: Analysis of executable binary code is performed without detection by defensive elements embedded within the executable binary code or within a system in which the executable binary code is executing. An identified suspect executable file is disassembled. Statically and dynamically analysis is performed on binary code of the disassembled executable file. An anti-anti-debugging function is implemented by executing program call functions in a manner which avoids detection of a debugging program by the defensive elements embedded within the executable binary code of the anti-debugging function of the executable binary code, thereby avoiding detection by the source of the suspect executable file.

Abstract: A housing has a front surface and a back surface. A keyboard and a corresponding bottom surface move between a non-deployed configuration and a deployed configuration. A tray slides in and out of the housing along one or more slots that are formed internal to the housing. This tray can include an internal surface having a first side that contacts the keyboard and an opposing second side that contacts the aforementioned bottom surface when the latter components are non-deployed. When moving to the deployed configuration the keyboard and bottom surface first move substantially parallel to the housing and then move substantially perpendicular to the housing.
