Abstract: Methods and electronic devices for providing a wallpaper viewfinder are described. In one aspect, a method includes: receiving image data from a camera of the electronic device; displaying a viewfinder for the camera on a display of the electronic device based on the image data; identifying a subject in the image data; and overlaying one or more interface element representations on a portion of the displayed viewfinder which does not contain the identified subject, the interface element representations depicting interface elements associated with a graphical user interface of the electronic device.

Abstract: The present invention addresses limitations of prior art receptor-based traps through a methodology called the clamp/click/cleave (CCC) approach. Two fusion proteins each comprising a binding domain fused to a coiled-coil are non-covalently dimerized through the coiled-coil (clamp), and the dimer so formed is stabilized by a covalent disulphide bond (click) between cysteine residues located on the fusion proteins between the binding domains and coiled-coils. Once the disulphide bond has formed, the coiled-coils are subsequently removed (cleave) by cleaving the fusions proteins at cleavage sites located between the cysteine residues and the coiled-coils to provide the covalently dimerized bivalent binding agent of the present invention. Such binding agents are useful in the treatment and diagnosis of disease states characterized by production and/or overexpression of a ligand to which the binding domains bind.

Abstract: A silica crucible and a fabricating method thereof are provided. The silica crucible includes a vitreous silica body having an inner surface and an outer surface, the inner surface of the vitreous silica body defining a cavity adapted for containing a molten material or a powder material; and a first coating layer formed on the inner surface of the vitreous silica body. The first coating layer is formed by pyrolysing a composite of aluminum, magnesium, calcium, titanium, zirconium, radium, chromium, selenium, barium, yttrium, cerium, hafnium, tantalum, tin or silicon under a predetermined temperature. The first coating layer substantially includes of a nonhomogeneous material, and an interface is defined by the homogeneous material and the nonhomogeneous material between the vitreous silica body and the coating layer. The first coating layer has strong adhesion capability and guarantees the coating layer will not be easily peeled off or removed.

Abstract: Disclosed are compositions of a major amount of alkylated aromatics compounds, in particular alkylated naphthalene and alkylated benzene, optionally combined with API Group II, Group III, Group IV and/or ethylene copolymers, showing improved thermo-oxidation performance when containing an additive combination including an alkylated or non-alkylated diarylamine and a sulfur-containing metal passivator. Particularly, the lubricating compositions include at least 55 wt % of a base oil selected from the group consisting of alkylated naphthalene, alkylated benzene and combinations thereof, and from 0 wt % to 45 wt % of another base oil component. The ratio of amine component to sulfur component in the additive combination is from 1:1 to 20:1. The compositions contain an amount of base oil other than alkylated naphthalene, alkylated benzene and API Group II, Group III, Group IV and/or ethylene copolymers of less than 10 wt % based on the total weight of the components comprising the lubricating composition.

Abstract: Non-oxidizing plasma treatment devices for treating a semiconductor workpiece generally include a substantially non-oxidizing gas source; a plasma generating component in fluid communication with the non-oxidizing gas source; a process chamber in fluid communication with the plasma generating component, and an exhaust conduit centrally located in a bottom wall of the process chamber. In one embodiment, the process chamber is formed of an aluminum alloy containing less than 0.15% copper by weight; In other embodiments, the process chamber includes a coating of a non-copper containing material to prevent formation of copper hydride during processing with substantially non-oxidizing plasma. In still other embodiments, the process chamber walls are configured to be heated during plasma processing. Also disclosed are non-oxidizing plasma processes.

Abstract: System and methods for performing time limited data sharing over peer-to-peer data connections. A sharing data communications device sends a data sharing invitation with an end time specification to another device. Upon accepting the invitation, a data sharing relationship is established that will terminate at the specified end time. The invitation specifies a data set that can be shared over the data sharing relationship. The sharing data communications device is able to send the specified data set to the other device until the end time or until the data sharing relationship is terminated by either device. In one example, the establishment and maintenance of the data sharing relationship and shared data exchange is performed by the two end user devices over a peer-to-peer data protocol without an intermediate data sharing server.

Abstract: A high-speed motion estimation method for estimating a motion of a picture at high speed in a high-speed motion estimation apparatus including an integer-times motion estimation unit and a decimal-times motion estimation unit. The integer-times motion estimation unit (1) receives pixel data of a picture for estimation of motion from an external frame memory, (2) stores pixel data of a current region in a current macroblock storage where multiple inputs/outputs are made, (3) stores pixel data of an estimation region in an estimation region macroblock storage of a sharable multiple input/output bank type, and (4) predicts an integer-times motion vector using both stored pixel data. The decimal-times motion estimation unit reads the pixel data of the estimation region from the estimation region macroblock storage which is sharable, and predicts a decimal-times motion vector using the read pixel data of the estimation region and the integer-times motion vector.
