Abstract: Disclosed is a solar cell module including a first solar cell unit including a plurality of solar cells and a plurality of condensing layers, which are arranged alternately, a second solar cell unit including a plurality of solar cells and a plurality of condensing layers, which are arranged alternately, and each of the plurality of solar cells of the first solar cell unit and the second solar cell unit includes a first electrode disposed on one side thereof and a second electrode disposed on an opposite side thereof, whereby a visibility, by which the light passes through the solar cell module, is increased by including the plurality of solar cells and the plurality of condensing layers, through which a visual ray may pass.

Abstract: Systems and methods for image processing for determining a registration map between a first image of a scene with a second image of the scene, include solving an optimal transport (OT) problem to produce the registration map by optimizing a cost function that determines a minimum of a ground cost distance between the first and the second images modified with an epipolar geometry-based regularizer including a distance that quantifies the violation of an epipolar geometry constraint between corresponding points defined by the registration map. The ground cost compares a ground cost distance of features extracted within the first image with a ground cost distance of features extracted from the second image.

Abstract: A BVP10 protein shown in SEQ ID NO:2 for controlling tetranychid mites and use of the protein is provided. Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for depth estimation from monocular images using a depth model with sparse range sensor data and uncertainty in the range sensor as inputs thereto. According to some embodiments, the methods and systems comprise receiving an image captured by an image sensor, where the image represents a scene of an environment. The method and systems also comprise deriving a point cloud representative of the scene of the environment from range sensor data, and deriving range sensor uncertainty from the range sensor data. Then a depth map can be derived for the image based on the point cloud and the range sensor uncertainty as one or more inputs into a depth model.

Abstract: Multi-omic analysis (analysis of proteins, lipids, and metabolites) is a powerful and increasingly utilized approach to gain insight into complex biological systems. One major hindrance with multi-omics, however, is the lengthy sample preparation process. Preparing samples for mass spectrometry (MS)-based multi-omics broadly involves extraction of metabolites and lipids with organic solvents, precipitation of proteins, and overnight digestion of proteins. The existing workflows are disparate and laborious, requiring multiple complex operation steps typically taking 1-2 days to perform. The present invention provides methods for preparing multi-omic samples that are faster and simpler than conventional methods, making it easier for a single lab or researcher to collect quality multi-omic data.

The power plant system includes a combustor configured, a turbine configured to generate electricity, a heat exchanger and a steam turbine, a carbon capture system configured to remove at least a portion of carbon-based gasses from the flue gas downstream from the heat recovery steam generator, and a thermal storage system including a hot storage unit configured to store thermal energy at a hot temperature, the hot temperature greater than ambient temperature. The power plant is configured to operate in at least a first mode for storing thermal energy in the thermal storage system and a second mode for releasing the stored thermal energy from the thermal storage system and during the second mode, heat stored in the hot storage unit is transferred to the carbon capture system.

Abstract: A device for detecting the elongation of a hydraulic cylinder includes an electric signal conversion device, a ruler and a positional magnetic ring. The electric signal conversion device is disposed at the bottom of a cylinder barrel. The ruler has an end fixedly connected to the electric signal conversion device, as well as the other end movably extending into a piston rod. The positional magnetic ring is fixedly connected to a piston and the positional magnetic is movably disposed around the periphery of the ruler. When the positional magnetic ring is located at different positions of the ruler, different circuits are turned on to transmit a voltage or current signal corresponding to the positions of the ruler to the electric signal conversion device, so as to obtain a position of the positional magnetic ring on the ruler, such that the elongation of the piston rod is obtained.

Abstract: Disclosed are a fault early-warning method and a fault early-warning system applied to a gas turbine unit, and an apparatus. Abstract: The present invention relates to a cryogenic process to produce crude helium from pretreated natural gas. The pretreated natural gas is processed in two flash stages using the helium free process stream as a stripping agent, and a distillation column with the identified operating conditions and process scheme to ensure 100% helium recovery with reduced capital and operating cost for producing the crude helium. The integration of the cryogenic process with the already known purification system to produce pure helium is demonstrated to ensure high helium recovery in a hybrid process.
