Abstract: A method identifies a measure that is not provided for by a manufacturer on or using a removable battery pack having at least one energy storage cell and a monitoring unit. The method includes detecting and storing a voltage of the removable battery pack and/or a cell voltage of the at least one energy storage cell using the monitoring unit before the monitoring unit is set to a quiescent state or when the removable battery pack is set to a state other than a charging operating state. The method also includes comparing the detected voltage of the removable battery pack and/or the detected cell voltage with a previously-stored voltage of the removable battery pack or a previously-stored cell voltage using the monitoring unit when the monitoring unit is set to an operating state or when the removable battery pack is in the state other than the charging operating state.
Abstract: A communication network for a vehicle includes a control device, a network switch and at least one sensor. The control device transmits at least one service provision message for configuring a sensor to a control interface of the network switch. The network switch outputs the service provision message at a sensor interface of the network switch that is associated with the service provision message. The sensor transmits at least one service search query to the sensor interface of the network switch, receives the service provision message from the sensor interface, and teaches a configuration by using the service provision message.
Abstract: A method for simple measurement of phase shift between a first clock signal and a second clock signal is described, each clock signal having a period T0. The method includes: feeding the first clock signal into a first input of a mixer; feeding the second clock signal into a second input of the mixer; feeding the output signal of the mixer into a low pass filter; and measuring the output signal of the low pass filter, with the aid of an output voltage that is normalized to operating voltage of the mixer. A circuit for implementing the method includes a mixer and a low pass filter. The mixer includes a first input for feeding in the first clock signal, and a second input for feeding in the second clock signal. The output of the mixer is connected to the input of the low pass filter.

Abstract: Examples herein include a brake hydraulic pressure control apparatus including a base body formed with a channel of a brake fluid, a motor assembly having a rotor and a stator accommodated in a motor housing, and a control board of a controller that controls the motor assembly. The control board is arranged on a rotation axis of the rotor. A permanent magnet is attached to the motor assembly and rotates with the rotor, and a coil is wound around the stator. A feeding terminal is connected to the coil and the control board, and is used when being supplied with electric power from the control board. A positioning mechanism extends between and contacts the motor assembly and the control board to position the motor assembly and the control board. A detection sensor is mounted on the control board and detects a magnetic field generated by the permanent magnet.

Abstract: A method for determining a rotational orientation change using an NMR gyroscope includes making use of a measure of determining, in a vapor cell, which is filled at least with a gaseous first element and a gaseous second element having non-vanishing nuclear spin, a nuclear spin component of the second element in the second direction and a nuclear spin component of the second element in a third direction. The second direction and the third direction are perpendicular to a first direction, which corresponds to the direction of the static magnetic field and to the polarization direction of the nuclear spin of the second element. Moreover, the second direction corresponds to the direction of an applied alternating magnetic field, the frequency of which corresponds to the Larmor frequency of the Larmor precession of the nuclear spin of the second element about the static magnetic field.
