Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of tuning an active safety system of a motor vehicle, notably an antilock braking system (ABS), an anti-skid system (ARS or TSC), a path control device (ESP), an overall motor vehicle chassis control system (VDM) or similar, and an active safety system obtained by said method and/or the motor vehicles equipped with such an active safety system. The subject of the present invention is a method of tuning active safety systems employing a vehicle comprising at least one wheel equipped with a coating (1) with low tyre grip advantageously made of a plastic material with low friction coefficient, preferably of the polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) type or a mixture or an alloy of PTFE with other materials. The present invention applies notably to the motor vehicle industry. The present invention applies mainly to the active safety system industry.

Abstract: A work bench. The work bench includes a table top, a plurality of legs connected to the table top, and a leg length adjustment mechanism positioned on at least one of the plurality of legs. The leg length adjustment mechanism includes a threaded rod configured to rotate about a rod axis, and a leg adjustment member moveable between a first position where the leg adjustment member threadedly engages the threaded rod and a second position where the leg adjustment member is removed from the threaded rod. Abstract: A method and system for ultrasonic sealing of food product packaging is provided. The ultrasonic sealing system preferably includes a food product packaging-positioning system that delivers food product packaging and food product into direct on-item-packaging forming box. The direct on-item-packaging forming box then receives the food product packaging and forms it directly around the supplied food product forming a partially packaged food product. The partially packaged food product is then ultrasonically edge sealed around the food product by an ultrasonic food product packaging fin-sealing unit forming a partially sealed food product packaging. The partially sealed food product packaging then enters a food product packaging end-sealing unit which ultrasonically seals and crimps the ends of the food product packaging resulting in a fully packaged and ultrasonically sealed food product.
Abstract: A method for providing a specification about an efficiency of a cooler for recirculated exhaust gas in an internal combustion engine includes: measuring a temperature of the recirculated exhaust gas cooled by the cooler; and ascertaining the specification about the efficiency of the cooler as a function of the measured temperature of the cooled recirculated exhaust gas. With the aid of the specification about the efficiency of the cooler it is possible to determine a failure of the cooler or to calculate a temperature of the recirculated exhaust gas in order implement an engine control system of the internal combustion engine on the basis of a reliable temperature specification that is not influenced by lag effects.
