Abstract: A system and a method for identifying a leak indication in a utility distribution system is described. A pipe network for supplying a utility to a multitude of service connections includes a plurality of acoustic sensors mounted at the service connections. The acoustic sensors are preferably integrated in ultrasonic flow meters. The method comprises the steps of obtaining information about a time of change of a fluid pressure and then establishing a first noise indicator from the noise measured by the acoustic sensors before said time of change, establishing a second noise indicator from the noise measured after said time of change; and then correlating one or more first noise indicators and second noise indicators with the fluid pressure to identify service connections subject to leak indications. A leak detection system based on a mathematical cross correlation of noise indicators and fluid pressure in a fluid pipe system is also described.
Abstract: A membrane gas separator with a built-in valve along with a method of open and closing the membrane gas separator are disclosed herein. The membrane separator contains an inlet chamber, hollow selective fibres, an outlet chamber, a central core element and a flushing space. The membrane separator contains a built-in combined valve in the outlet chamber and a the central space and a check valve at an inlet manifold. The built-in valve contains a throttling section to ensure a reduced backflow of a final product from the outlet manifold to the inner space of hollow fibres, and the sealing section to stop the flow of the flushing medium from the outlet chamber to the flushing space when no inlet medium flows through the separator. The method of opening of the membrane separator includes opening of the sealing section and subsequent opening and deactivation of the throttling section.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a hearing aid with an RF antenna arranged within the hearing aid's housing, and a loudspeaker positioned in the ear canal of the user. The RF antenna is configured to receive and/or transmit electromagnetic RF signals within a first frequency range enclosing a first frequency of resonance of the RF antenna corresponding to a first wavelength. The hearing aid further comprises one or more electric leads electrically connected to lead one or more electric signals within a second frequency range not overlapping the first frequency range between the loudspeaker in the ear canal of the user and an electronic circuit in the housing, with the one or more electrical leads being decoupled, at a connector end of the one or more electrical leads, by means of one or more decoupling components.

Abstract: A method for monitoring a refrigerant charge in a vapour compression system (1) is disclosed, the vapour compression system (1) including a compressor unit (2), a heat rejecting heat exchanger (3), a high pressure expansion device (4), a receiver (5), at least one expansion device (9, 10), and at least one evaporator (11, 12) arranged in a refrigerant path. A change in net mass flow into or out of the receiver (5) and/or a change in net enthalpy flow into or out of the receiver (5) is detected, and a pressure inside the receiver (5) is monitored as a function of time, following the detected change in net mass flow and/or in net enthalpy flow. A time constant being representative for dynamics of the receiver (5) is derived, based on the monitored pressure as a function of time, and information regarding a refrigerant charge in the vapour compression system (1) is derived, based on the derived time constant.
