  • Publication number: 20040208337
Abstract: To reduce the effects of disturbing electromagnetic effects on a loudspeaker of a mobile telephone, the loudspeaker is provided with a compensation coil in addition to an excitation coil. The compensation coil is series-connected with the excitation coil. However, it is dispensed of the need for playing a driving role by being bonded to the permanent magnet of the loudspeaker. It is shown that the harmful effects are reduced without stopping the loudspeaker from working.

  • Patent number: 6804342
Abstract: A procedure to establish communication between two terminals for data transmission, designed to supply the identity of a calling terminal to a receiving terminal. The procedure includes memorization in terminals of a table with the numbers of the terminals of correspondents. At the time of a call, a command is given to the network to supply the identity of the calling terminal to the receiving terminal. In the receiving terminal, the identity of the calling terminal is compared against the content of the table. If the identities match, the receiving terminal calls back the calling terminal.

  • Patent number: 6788957
Abstract: To enable a use of a two-band type mobile telephone with a dual radiation circuit, a selector switch is placed between this dual radiation circuit and transmission channels in each of these bands. Given the emergence of the second harmonic resulting from the presence of the selector switch, the undesirable components are filtered with a filter. A part of the reactive components of this filter is between the radiating circuit and the selector switch, while the other part is in the channel to be filtered. Depending on the nature of the channel, the other part in the channel to be filtered has different values.

  • Publication number: 20040154399
Abstract: In an implementation in rate gyro mode, the method comprises the steps of exciting the vibrating member by means of a combination of control signals comprising an amplitude control signal at the resonant frequency of the vibrating member or at a frequency twice the resonant frequency, a precession control signal at a frequency twice the resonant frequency, and a quadrature control signal at DC, at the resonant frequency, or at a frequency twice the resonant frequency. In free gyro mode, the method includes the steps of applying a combination of signals to common electrodes 5 and of applying said combination in alternation to main electrodes 5.1 and 5.2 and to secondary electrodes 7.1 and 7.2 interleaved between the main electrodes.

  • Patent number: 6765884
Abstract: To eliminate the acoustic nuisance caused by a ringing of a mobile telephone (1) in a limited geographical zone (7), a device (8) for the transmission of a signal (9) is placed in this zone (7). The decoy signal (9) is obtained by identifying the radioelectric synchronization signal (10), received by a receiver (11), that is the most powerful signal transmitted in this zone (7) and by producing a replica of this synchronization signal (10). This replica is amplified and desynchronized with respect to the received signal (10). Thus a mobile telephone (1) present in this zone (7) considers this decoy signal (9) to be the most powerful one and will therefore get connected with the dummy transmitter (12) that transmits this dummy signal (9). Thus, the production of acoustic nuisance in this zone (7) is avoided.

  • Patent number: 6766177
Abstract: To resolve problems of communication between a mobile telephone provided with a smart-card reader and the circuits of a smart-card reader, it is planned to provide this mobile telephone with a fourth microprocessor designed to manage the communications of the mobile telephone with the smart card only. This fourth microprocessor then becomes, in competition with a SIM security circuit of the mobile telephone, a master of the microprocessor of the mobile telephone. To resolve the problem of competition resulting from the existence of these two master circuits, it is planned that one of the two will be called upon to execute a command and that it will execute this command if it falls within the commands that are executable by it. If this command is not executable by this first microprocessor, then it is transmitted to the microprocessor of the second master circuit so that this second master circuit executes it. By acting in this way, it is shown that it is very easy to update mobile telephones, even old models.

  • Patent number: 6738648
Abstract: The mobile telephones comprise two main elements, namely a body (101) and a battery (103) the powers this body. The users of the mobile telephones may wish, through their mobile telephone, to have functions other than that of communicating with another person. These other functions (107-109) are then incorporated into the battery and a functional connector (120) is placed between the body and the battery. In order to keep a body that is as standard as possible, the functional connector is made detachable. The functional connector then sets up a connection between the contacts (116) of the body and contacts (111) of the battery. Thus the body is the same whatever the type of battery. Similarly, the cost of the telephone is henceforth bone only by those who have need of it.

  • Patent number: 6728516
Abstract: The process for transmitting data between a radio transmitter rig and a receiver rig, through a disturbing transmission medium, consists in: grouping the data to be transmitted into blocks (Bi), adding redundancy information thereto, and splitting the block (Bi) up into a determined number of bit packets (Pj) and, at the receiving end, an attempt is made to reconstruct the data block (Bi) by utilizing the redundancy information, a process in which: a quality is estimated in respect of the transmission of data and a minimum number of packets (Pj) of the block (Bi) are transmitted, which number is sufficient to reconstruct the block (Bi) and, at the receiving end, the attempted reconstruction of the block (Bi) is performed by investigating the minimum number of packets (Pj).
