  • Patent number: 5768765
Abstract: A component mounting apparatus includes a first pair of clamping members installed to face each other and to move toward and away from a hollow rod, and a second pair of clamping members installed to face each other at a predetermined angle with respect to the first clamping members and to move toward and away from the hollow rod. The first clamping members are driven by a first actuator and the second clamping members are driven by a second actuator. Thus, components of various configurations including any rectangle can be easily clamped. Another component mounting apparatus includes a lightweight component positioning unit. A component is picked up by a component pick-up unit protruding from the component positioning unit whose width becomes larger, positioned, and held by the component positioning unit. Thus, damage of the component can be prevented and component pick-up and mounting operations can be rapidly performed.

  • Patent number: 5767574
Abstract: A semiconductor lead frame having an improved structure formed of plated layers is provided. The semiconductor lead frame has the structure of multi-plated layers in which a Ni plated layer, a Pd strike plated layer, and a Pd--X alloy plated layer are deposited on a substrate in the described order. In such a multi-plated layer structure, the Pd strike plated layer covers the porous surface of the Ni plated layer and decreases the surface roughness. Since the thickness of the outer Pd--X alloy plated layer can be maintained uniform due to the Pd strike plated layer, corrosion durability and bonding characteristics are enhanced, thus minimizing the generation and progress of cracks.

  • Patent number: 5757069
Abstract: A semiconductor lead frame in which a semiconductor chip is mounted using an insulating adhesive film. The semiconductor lead frame includes an inner lead and a plating layer. The inner lead has a plating groove formed therein at an end portion of a surface opposite a surface to which the insulating adhesive film is attached. The plating layer rests on the plating groove such that an upper surface of the plating layer and the opposite surface of the inner lead are flush. Since the upper surfaces of the plating layer and the inner lead are flush, a pressing force by a heater is uniformly transmitted to a semiconductor chip, thereby improving adhesion reliability of the semiconductor chip.

  • Patent number: 5754071
Abstract: A digital signal delay circuit includes a first pair of counters for setting a starting point of a digital output signal by counting an adjustably set number of clock pulses corresponding to an intended time delay from a starting point of a digital input signal. The circuit further includes a second pair of counters for setting an ending point of the digital output signal by counting an adjustably set number of clock pulses corresponding to an intended output pulse width from an ending point of the digital input signal. The state of the digital output signal is only determined by the state of the output signal of the last counter in the first pair of counters. The output signal from the last counter in the first pair of counters controls a count starting point of the first counter in the second pair of counters. The output signal from the second pair of counters controls an initializing point on which the state of the output signal from the last counter in the first pair of counters is inverted.

  • Patent number: 5751400
Abstract: The conversion system for a camera employs a conversion lever disposed at the outer side of a camera body to select a given photographic mode without need to open the camera. The conversion lever is used to shift a cam plate which is located within the camera body in order to effect vertical movement of two panorama curtains within the camera body. The cam plate may be moved into one of three positions, namely a normal photographic mode position, a first photographic mode position and a second photographic mode position. A first operating lever is actuated by the cam plate to move one panorama curtain vertically while movement of the first panorama curtain causes movement of the second panorama curtain via a second operating lever.

  • Patent number: 5731908
Abstract: A photographic lens system, comprising, from an object side, a first lens group having a positive refractive power, and a second lens group having a positive refractive power, wherein the first and the second lens groups comprise at least one cylindrical lens and the photographic lens system satisfies the condition of 1.0<f.sub.1 /f.sub.2 <1.2, where f.sub.1 represents a focal length in the Y direction, and f.sub.2 represents a focal length in the Z direction. The photographic lens system enables an image to be formed at the same position by making the horizontal magnification different from the vertical magnification due to the back focal length in the Y direction being different from that in the Z direction while equating the focal point lengths in the Y and Z directions. The photographic lens system can be used in a high quality camera having a relatively large aperture ratio and a good image forming efficiency.
