Abstract: A novel system and method for degassing H2S and H2Sx from liquid sulfur (sulphur) is disclosed. The system includes a degassing vessel with a plurality of cells. The cells include a sparging gas mat with a perforated surface at the bottom of the cell to allow the release of air bubbles (or sparging gas) into the cells. A catalyst may be used during the process. As a result, hydrogen sulfide and hydrogen polysulfide are efficiently and effectively removed from the liquid sulfur.

Abstract: A milling insert, including an upperside, an underside, and a reference plane parallel to the upperside and the underside. A plurality of indexable cutting edges are formed along a peripheral borderline in transitions between at least the upperside and a number of clearance surfaces. Each cutting edge includes a chip-removing main edge and a surface-wiping secondary edge, the secondary edge forming an obtuse angle with the main edge as viewed in planar view from the upperside. The main edge, from a first end of the main edge adjacent to the secondary edge, first declines toward the underside of the milling insert and then, from a lowest part, rises toward an opposite second end of the main edge. The secondary edge is inclined at an angle (?) in relation to the reference plane as viewed perpendicularly to the clearance surface of the secondary edge, such that a first end of the secondary edge connected to the main edge is situated on a lower level than the opposite, second end of the secondary edge.

Abstract: The invention relates to a milling tool for gear milling. The tool body is equipped with tangentially mounted milling inserts having four cutting edges and two holes, only one of which is utilized for a fixing screw in two of totally four index positions. By locating a screw hole in the seat of the milling insert at a distance from the radial support surface of the seat that is greater than the distance between an individual hole and a distal end of the milling insert, a clamping force is provided by means of the inherent elasticity of the fixing screw. In such a way, the milling insert is pressed against the radial support surface. By means of a transversal eccentricity, the milling insert is also pressed against a tangential support surface in the seat. By means of this construction, the two holes in differently long milling inserts can be formed with equally large distances from distal ends. Thereby, one and the same tool body can be equipped with differently long milling inserts.
Abstract: A rotating cutting tool configured to rotate around an axis of rotation in a rotary direction, and a support pad for such a tool is disclosed. The support pad defines a central longitudinal axis and has a first longitudinal edge side, an opposite second longitudinal edge side, a first transversal edge side and an opposite second transversal edge side. The support pad includes a first support surface, which is convexly curved as viewed in a plane perpendicular to the central longitudinal axis and a first recess, which extends into the first support surface in a direction from the first longitudinal edge side towards the second longitudinal edge side. The first recess extends to a final position on the first support surface.
Abstract: A milling tool has single sided and indexable milling inserts having a round basic shape. Each milling insert has a plurality of tangentially spaced-apart and alternately usable cutting edges, which individually fall archedly from a first end, situated closest to an upper reference plane, to a lowest point, from which it again rises toward a second end. A reinforcing chamfer surface included in the cutting edge is formed with an increasing width in a direction from the first end of the cutting edge toward the second end.

Abstract: A vertical shaft impact crusher feed tube arranged for protecting a rotor feeding opening of a feeding funnel of a vertical shaft impact crusher. The feed tube includes a tube portion via which material may flow from the feeding funnel and vertically downwards into a rotor. The tube portion has a first width at a material inlet, and a second width at a material outlet, wherein the second width is larger than the first width.

Abstract: An arrangement and method of utilizing rock drilling information in a mine whereby drill holes are drilled in a surrounding rock material by a first mining vehicle. During drilling measuring data is produced and is inputted to a monitoring device for analyzing procedures. The monitoring device produces rock condition data of the rock material being drilled. The produced rock condition data is then implemented in a second mining vehicle.
Abstract: A pilger rolling mill with a roll stand moves linearly back and forth along a movement direction and includes a crank mechanism having a rotatably supported crankshaft with a crank pin and push rod. A first end of the push rod is pivotably fastened to the crank pin and a second end is pivotably fastened to the roll stand, so that during operation of the pilger rolling mill a rotary movement of the crankshaft is converted into an oscillating movement of the roll stand along the movement direction. A compensation shaft is rotatably supported about an axis of rotation and includes a distribution of mass that is not rotationally symmetrical relative to its axis of rotation and a counter-mass. The crankshaft and the compensation shaft are connected to one another by a transmission so that a rotation of the crankshaft leads to a rotation of the compensation shaft.

Abstract: A connection assembly for mounting a ground engaging tool to earthmoving equipment includes a body into which is received a resilient member, a force applying member, a locking member with an O-ring seal to be received in an annular channel around the locking member, a locking member stop received in a hole in the locking member, and a body stop to be fitted into an aperture under the body. The locking member stop prevents the force applying member from rotating within the body when the bolt is rotated and advances the piston by threaded engagement.

Abstract: A mobile bulk material processing apparatus includes a main frame having a pair of opposed beams that are spaced apart in a widthwise direction across the apparatus. A conveyor transports material from or to a material processing unit mounted at the main frame. The beams are arranged to receive at least part of the conveyor to protect the conveyor in a raised transport position.
Abstract: A down-the-hole hammer drill bit assembly includes a foot valve and a drill component having respective abutment regions in the form of cooperating lugs and shoulders that may be engaged by rotation of the valve relative to the drill bit component to allow the lugs and shoulders to overlap radially to lock the valve at the drill component. The assembly is advantageous to allow coupling and decoupling on-site without the need for specific swaging or hydraulic/pneumatic assembly tools.
