Abstract: A method for manufacturing a component having at least one internal cavity includes the step of providing a core element of metallic material that includes at least one cavity having a first opening covered by a cover element with a first and second side. A form partially surrounds the core element and cover element. The form is filled with metallic filling material and heated in a heating chamber that is pressurized with gas for a predetermined time period at a predetermined temperature and a predetermined isostatic pressure, so that a metallurgical bond is achieved between the core element, cover element and metallic filling material. The core element is arranged such that, after filling the form with metallic filling material, the second side of the cover element is covered with metallic filling material so that the cavity during heating is pressurized to the predetermined isostatic pressure.

Abstract: Air compressor systems, upgrade kits, computer readable medium, and methods for controlling an air compressor for improved performance. The methods may include receiving a working air requirement; determining an estimated air pressure of the air compressor to deliver the working air requirement; measuring a pressure of the air compressor; comparing the measured pressure with the calculated estimated air pressure; if the measured pressure of the air compressor is greater than the determined estimated air pressure by a predetermined greater amount, then decreasing an output control of the air compressor; and if the measured pressure of the air compressor is less than the calculated estimated air pressure by a predetermined lesser amount then increasing the output control of the air compressor. The air compressor may be controlled based on a measured pressure of delivered working air. An oil control system may shut off oil to parts of the air compressor.

Abstract: A profile of a cutting tip includes a convex portion extending from a cutting end to an inflection point located at an axial and radial distance from the cutting end. A concave portion extends from the inflection point to a point at a greater radial and axial distance from the cutting end. The profiles of the generally concave portion and the generally convex portion have a first linear portion defined by a portion of a first line extending from a first point at a first radial position to a second point at a second radial position and axially spaced from the first point. A second linear portion is defined by a portion of a second line extending from a third point to a fourth point at the second radial position and at an axial distance from the second point corresponding to about half a length of the first line.
Abstract: A rock drilling unit and a method of changing drill rods in a rock drilling unit is disclosed. The rock drilling unit includes a feed beam, a retainer device, a rock drilling machine and at least one clamp. The clamp is operable without driving force of the drilling unit. Abstract: A first coupling part interacts with a second coupling part of a tool coupling. The first coupling part has a first body and a conical pin, which extends from the first body along a center axis (x) to an end surface. The conical pin is insertable into a conical seat. The conical pin comprises a cavity, which extends from the end surface and comprises a number of first protuberances, which are separated and arranged at a distance from each other along a circumferential direction in respect to the center axis so that there are formed a corresponding number of first recesses. The first protuberances form a respective first contact surface and interact with a corresponding number of separated, second contact surfaces of a pull member of the second coupling part. The first contact surfaces form an acute angle with the center axis.
