Abstract: A lens driving unit includes a lens holder accommodating a lens or a group of lenses. A coil is disposed on a surface of the lens holder. The lens driving unit is provided with a magnet disposed at a position spaced from the coil by a predetermined distance to move the lens holder along an optical axis according to current flowing in the coil. The lens driving unit is further provided with a guide member guiding movement of the lens holder along the optical axis. Further, a magnetic member is disposed at the lens holder to fix a position of the lens holder by magnetic attraction force exerted by the magnet when no current flows in the coil. The lens driving unit can achieve downsizing, improved resistance to impact, stabilized lens attitude, and reduced power consumption when an auto-focus function is performed.

  • Publication number: 20070120131
Abstract: In a photodetector where a circuit section, in which an interconnection is formed, is formed adjacent to a light receiving section, photo sensitivity within a light receiving surface is prevented from being nonuniform due to an interlayer insulating film at a periphery of the light receiving section being increased in thickness. In a circuit region 74, a buffer region (region 140, 138) is disposed adjacent to a light receiving section 72. In the buffer region, in order to reduce irregularity of an interlayer insulating film 136, a density of planarizing pads 134 disposed between the interconnections 132 is gradually reduced from a standard value in a region 142 as it approaches the light receiving section 72. Since a height of a surface of the interlayer insulating film 136 is lowered by reducing the density of the planarizing pads, a step between the light receiving section 72 and the region 138 adjacent thereto is decreased.

Abstract: An object is to solve a problem that the smaller the number of rotations of a rotary compressor is, the more an efficiency decrease of the compressor is generated owing to an increase of a rotary vibration and an efficiency decrease of a motor. In the rotary compressor including, in a sealed vessel, a electromotive element and a rotary compression element driven by this electromotive element, on one of an upper end face of a rotor constituting the electromotive element (on a side opposite to a compression mechanism) and a lower end face of the rotor (on a compression mechanism side), a rotation inertia article capable of obtaining a rotation inertia moment is disposed. In consequence, it is possible to obtain the compressor having a high efficiency in which an increase of the rotary vibration of the compressor is suppressed even during an operation having the small number of the rotations of the compressor.
