Abstract: An axial-flow fan according to the present disclosure can increase the amount of the airflow and simultaneously reduce the noise level. A plurality of stationary blades 11A to 11D are curved, in a convex manner, toward a rotating direction of an impeller. The plurality of stationary blades 11A to 11D are generally inclined so that discharge-side edge portions 11d thereof are located more forward than suction-side edge portions 11c thereof in the rotating direction. An inclination angle ?4 of each of the plurality of stationary blades 11A to 11D in the vicinity of the external end portion 11a is larger than the inclination angle ?3 in the vicinity of the internal end portion 11b. The inclination angle is gradually changed from the vicinity of the external end portion 11a toward the vicinity of the internal end portion 11b.

  • Patent number: 7223082
Abstract: A so-called internal intermediate pressure multistage compression type rotary compressor makes it possible to prevent the pressure inside a roller from inconveniently increasing and also to permit smooth and reliable supply of oil into a cylinder of a second rotary compressing element by a relatively simple construction. A lubrication groove for providing communication between an oil bore and a low-pressure chamber in the cylinder is formed in a surface of an intermediate partitioner that is adjacent to the cylinder of the second rotary compressing element. Furthermore, a through bore for providing communication between a hermetically sealed vessel and the inside of the roller is formed in the intermediate partitioner.

  • Patent number: 7224371
Abstract: The invention provides a picture signal processor comprising: a sampling circuit that receives picture signals of a plurality of standard colors separated from a video signal and samples the picture signals of the plurality of standard colors in turn repeatedly; and an interpolation filter that receives the sampling values sampled from the plurality of standard colors in the sampling circuit and finds interpolated values at a common reference interpolation time for all the standard colors by subjecting the sampling values to interpolation calculation for each standard color. The use of the interpolated values at the reference interpolation time can reduce the color blur of the color video signal.

  • Patent number: 7224038
Abstract: A semiconductor device capable of preventing defective embedding of an insulator and improving the withstand voltage (dielectric strength) of an element isolation region is obtained. This semiconductor device comprises a semiconductor substrate having a main surface and an element isolation trench formed on the main surface of the semiconductor device, while the trench width of an upper end of the element isolation trench is larger than the trench width of a bottom surface and the length of a side surface located between the upper end and an end of the bottom surface is larger than the length of a straight line connecting the upper end and the end of the bottom surface. Thus, the element isolation trench is so formed that the trench width of the upper end is larger than the trench width of the bottom surface, whereby an insulator can be readily embedded in the element isolation trench. Thus, the insulator can be prevented from defective embedding.

  • Patent number: 7224066
Abstract: A circuit device is provided in which the bonding reliability of a brazing material such as soft solder is improved. A circuit device of the present invention includes conductive patterns, a bonding material which fixes circuit elements to the conductive patterns, and sealing resin which covers the circuit elements. The circuit device has a structure in which Pb-free solder containing Bi is used as the bonding material. Since the melting temperature of Bi is high in comparison with that of a general solder, the melting of the bonding material is suppressed when the circuit device is mounted. Further, Ag or the like may be mixed into the bonding material in order to enhance the wettability of the bonding material.

  • Patent number: 7225304
Abstract: The present invention provides a controller that can write an operation program for a control circuit to a memory and a method for writing data, while suppressing an increase in circuit area and an increase in manufacturing cost. An ATA register is connected to a host computer. An ATAPI register is connected to the ATA register. When a command code A0h is sent to the ATA register from the host computer, data (a command and microcomputer control software) sent from the host computer is sent to the ATAPI register via the ATA register. A decoder decodes the data sent to the ATAPI register and generates an address and data for writing the microcomputer control software to the flash ROM.
