Abstract: The present application pertains to a dispenser for dispensing tissue paper from a volume defined within a dispenser housing, the dispenser housing being made from a flat material, preferably a cardboard material, the dispenser having at least one handling section which can be folded out from a wall of the dispenser housing, the dispenser housing having at least two layers of the flat material at the location where the at least one handling section is situated, wherein the at least one handling section is present in the outer layers of the flat material only such that at least the innermost layer of the flat material remains intact and seals off the volume defined by the dispenser housing at the location where the at least one handling section is present such that the dispenser can be used as a fully-operational dispenser when the at least one handling section is folded out.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a disposable tissue paper product which feels dry to the touch and comprises a lathering surfactant in a form capable of forming lather upon contact with water, wherein said tissue paper product is obtainable by applying said lathering surfactant or a composition containing the lathering surfactant to one or more plies of dry tissue paper web, the lathering surfactant is present in an amount of 0.01 to 6 g/m, and, if a composition containing the lathering surfactant is applied, the total amount of non-volatile components of said composition does not exceed 20 wt.-% of the dry weight of said one or more tissue paper plies, a process for its manufacture and its use in cleaning hard surfaces.

Abstract: An absorbent article including at least two stacked absorbent pads which are releasably attached to each other, one being a first, user facing, absorbent pad and another being a second, garment facing, absorbent pad. The absorbent pads each have a liquid permeable topsheet; a backsheet; a first and second end region and a central region in the longitudinal direction; first and second lateral margins; and first and second transverse margins. The first and second absorbent pads are releasably attached to each other by joints along at least part of the respective first and second lateral margins in at least one of said end regions. The first and second absorbent pads are furthermore unattached from each other in an unattached region along at least a part of the transverse margins in the end region including the joints along the lateral margins. The first absorbent pad has a greater width, at least between the joints along the lateral margins in the end region, than the second absorbent pad.

Abstract: An absorbent article includes a liquid permeable top sheet, a liquid impermeable back sheet, an absorbent core being arranged between the top sheet and the back sheet, and an acquisition and distribution layer (ADL) of a nonwoven material being arranged between the top sheet and the absorbent core. The nonwoven material has a basis weight of 20-40 g/m2, 3-20 through holes per cm2, the holes having a diameter in CD and MD of 1-3 mm, and at least 70% by weight of the nonwoven ADL includes fibres having a fibre diameter of 12-22 ?m.

Abstract: A dispenser including a housing and a door pivotally attached to the housing via a substantially vertically arranged hinge. The housing includes a hinge wall, an upper end wall, a substantially vertical wall and a lower end wall. The walls define an edge delimiting a lateral charge opening. The housing is provided with a dispensing opening at the lower end wall. The door includes an essentially vertical portion, a free end opposite the hinge and a door rim at lest partly adjacent the edge of the housing when the door is in a closed position. The edge of the housing has a free edge portion extending along the upper end wall, the substantially vertical wall and the lower end wall. The free edge portion includes a guiding element for co-operation with a region of the door rim during pivoting of the door towards the closed position and for vertically positioning the free end of the door.

Abstract: An absorbent garment has a chassis structure including a front panel having a front end edge, a back panel having a back end edge, a crotch panel arranged between the front and back panels. Elasticated front and back waist panels are arranged along the front and back end edges, and a core component is integrated with the chassis structure. The chassis structure also has a liquid permeable material having a garment facing side and a user facing side and forming a liquid permeable surface layer in the garment. The liquid permeable material extends continuously between the front end edge and the back end edge, and at least one of the front panel and the back panel includes an elastic web that has been bonded to the liquid permeable material with the elastic web stretched by 35-250% in at least one direction.

The inner surface includes an edge zone including an inner edge portion and an outer edge portion. The sheet has at least one folding axis dividing the sheet into a first region and a second region. The inner edge portion and the outer edge portion of the edge zone of the first region is provided with adhesive, and the other of the inner edge portion and the outer edge portion of the edge zone of the first region is adhesive-free. Further, one of the inner edge portion and the outer edge portion of the edge zone of the second region is provided with adhesive, and the other is adhesive-free in a complementary manner to the edge zone of the first region.

The first and second conductive paths are longitudinally spaced from one another. The first and second conductive paths are elongate and are laterally aligned.

Abstract: A dispensing unit and a dispenser are provided. The dispenser is adapted for the use with continuous web material. The dispensing unit includes a first roller arranged to rotate about a first axis and a second roller arranged to rotate about a second axis. A web path is provided through the dispensing unit and a portion of the web path consists of a web passage defined between the first roller and the second roller. A drive mechanism engages with at least one of the first roller and the second roller for feeding web material through the web passage. The drive mechanism comprises a feeding ring rotatably suspended in the dispensing unit. The feeding ring extends around the web path.

Abstract: A method for monitoring use of an absorbent product, such as an incontinence pad or a diaper, worn by a wearer, includes registering a movement of the wearer by way of a mobile device having a movement sensing device, evaluating whether the registered movement is indicative of urinary and/or faecal voiding by the wearer, and providing product-related information to the wearer or a caregiver of the wearer based on said evaluation. In this way, the product-wearer or the caregiver can be provided with valuable information related to the use of the product, such as recommendations on when to change the product, displayed on the mobile device or a mobile device of the caregiver.

Abstract: An absorbent article includes a breathable backsheet material layer. At least a part of the layer includes a polymeric material exhibiting a discontinuous change in free volume in response to any of the following conditions or variables: liquid contact, the presence of certain ions, temperature and/or pH. One example of such polymeric materials is side chain liquid crystalline polymers which are able to undergo a phase transition between an isotropic phase and a nematic phase. The discontinuous change in free volume involves an abrupt change of the permeability of the breathable material layer.

Abstract: A system for dispensing paper product at a food-selling establishment. The system includes a point-of-sale device for entering details of a particular sale transaction, with the point-of-sale device being configured to output a slip containing specific indicia associated with the particular sale transaction. A dispenser of paper product is configured to obtain information from the specific indicia on the slip and to dispense a predetermined quantity of paper product in response to the obtained information.

Abstract: A spindle for mounting a roll of wiping material thereon. The spindle has a longitudinal extension and direction and includes a body and at least three elongated spring elements extending along the longitudinal direction. The body has a center section adapted to hold the roll, and each elongated spring element has a first end and a second end. The spindle is adapted to hold the roll and to be rotated about an essentially horizontal axis. The at least three elongated spring elements are arranged for stabilizing the roll on the center section. The first end and the second end of each spring element are fixedly attached to the body such that the spring elements are fixedly positioned in the longitudinal direction on the body. A holder for a roll of wiping material comprising such a spindle is also presented.
