  • Patent number: 11918178
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed towards systems and methods that leverage machine-learned models to decrease the rate at which abnormal sites are missed during a gastroenterological procedure. In particular, the system and methods of the present disclosure can use machine-learning techniques to determine the coverage rate achieved during a gastroenterological procedure. Measuring the coverage rate of the gastroenterological procedure can allow medical professionals to be alerted when the coverage output is deficient and thus allow an additional coverage to be achieved and as a result increase in the detection rate for abnormal sites (e.g., adenoma, polyp, lesion, tumor, etc.) during the gastroenterological procedure.

  • Patent number: 11921729
Abstract: A technique for generating and presenting context-aware recommendations to assist a patient in managing a chronic health condition. A health management platform provides various services that are accessible to a patient via a graphical user interface (GUI). Input data are received from various services and processed to generate contextual data associated with the patient such as a health state of the patient. Using the contextual data, a recommendation to access a particular service is generated and presented to the patient via the GUI. For example, in response to determining a health state of a patient, a recommendation to access a service to improve the health state of the patient can be automatically presented via the GUI to encourage the patient to access the service.

  • Patent number: 11924351
Abstract: A transient blockchain proxy server consolidates many individual requests to add data to a blockchain by aggregating hashed data from these requests and sending the aggregated hashed data to the blockchain network as a single request. The blockchain network adds a new block to the blockchain with the aggregated hashed data and returns a transaction identifier for the new block to the transient blockchain proxy server, which passes the transaction identifier back to all the requestors who then can directly use the blockchain network to verify the hashed data using the transaction identifier. The transient blockchain proxy server buffers all incoming requests until one of the pending requests reaches a send timepoint that is the blockchain network delay plus a buffer time before a guaranteed time of verification. All incoming requests are then consolidated and sent as a single transaction to the blockchain network. Tiered verification-time services are enabled.

  • Patent number: 11921048
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a fine particle-trapping sensor including: a plasmonic hotspot layer formed of a first metal; and a trapping layer formed of a second material. The inventors of the present disclosure have made extensive research efforts to develop a more effective and novel sensor for the real-time and high-sensitivity detection of droplets emitted from the oral cavity. As a result, the inventors have developed an alloy composite nanostructure including a Raman sensor layer, formed of a metal, and a trapping layer formed of a dielectric material, and have found that, when the ratio between the two layers is adjusted, the alloy composite nanostructure effectively traps respiratory droplets rapidly emitted from the oral cavity and detects coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2 lysate) in the respiratory droplets at a concentration of 10 pfu/ml, indicating that the composite nanostructure may be very advantageously used in the field of fine particle trapping.

  • Patent number: 11920253
Abstract: A method for vacuum heat treating Nb, such as is used in superconducting radio frequency cavities, to engineer the interstitial oxygen profile with depth into the surface to conveniently optimize the low-temperature rf surface resistance of the material. An example application is heating of 1.3 GHz accelerating structures between 250-400° C. to achieve a very high quality factor of 5×1010 at 2.0 K. With data supplied by secondary ion mass spectrometry measurements, application of oxide decomposition and oxygen diffusion theory was applied to quantify previously unknown parameters crucial in achieving the oxygen alloy concentration profiles required to optimize the rf surface resistance. RF measurements of vacuum heat treated Nb superconducting radio frequency cavities confirmed the minimized surface resistance (higher Q0) previously expected only from 800° C. diffusive alloying with nitrogen.

  • Publication number: 20240066428
Abstract: An exhaust system for an industrial washer is proposed. The exhaust system comprises a conduit that can be coupled to an exhaust air outlet of a washer. A condenser is coupled to the conduit and configured to cool and to extract humidity from the exhaust air. A filter housing with removable filter is connected to the condenser and configured to filter said exhaust air. A fan with an exhaust outlet is connected to the filter housing. A controller is configured to control at least the fan to extract the exhaust air from the washer outlet through the conduit, condenser and filter housing and to eject dried and cooled exhaust air from said exhaust outlet. By reducing the humidity and temperature of the exhaust air, the condenser improves the efficacy and lifetime of the filter. The effective and reliable removal of contamination is thus ensured while the need to further process the waste air is obviated.
