Abstract: Disclosed is an experimental device for studying the sediment yield behavior and the radial deformation of porous media during the exploitation of natural gas hydrates, comprising a high-pressure reactor, a hydrate sample chamber, a simulated wellbore, a deformation measurement unit, an ambient temperature control unit, an outlet control unit, an inlet control unit and a data processing unit. Further disclosed is a method using the above-mentioned experimental device to carry out experiments.

Abstract: A neural probe structure includes a probe which is inserted into a living body, and a magnetic field inductor which is formed in the probe, wherein when a power source is supplied, the magnetic field inductor generates a magnetic field and applies magnetic stimulation to a target site of the living body into which the probe is inserted. A method for manufacturing the neural probe structure includes forming a first pattern on a first substrate and filling the first pattern with a conductor, stacking a second substrate on the first substrate, and forming a second pattern connected to the first pattern on the second substrate and filling the second pattern with a conductor, wherein the first substrate and the second substrate form the probe, and the conductor of the first pattern and the conductor of the second pattern form the magnetic field inductor.

Abstract: Methods are provided for diagnosing, detecting, or prognosticating a GEP-NEN based on the expression level score of biomarkers exhibiting differential expression in subjects having a GEP-NEN relative to a reference or control sample. Abstract: An apparatus, system and process for utilizing dual complementary pattern illumination of a scene when performing depth reconstruction of the scene are described. In one embodiment a growth plate includes an upper surface, a recessed well, a raised platform having an opposing cavity, and raised extensions having an opposing receiving aperture. Typically, the well is recessed below the top surface and the platform is above the upper surface. A growth plate assembly typically includes at least a first growth plate's raised stacking surfaces being temporarily received by a second growth plate's receiving surfaces, thereby temporarily securing growth plates together.

Abstract: Compositions having low quantities of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and uses thereof are generally disclosed. In some embodiments, the compositions are aqueous compositions, such as aqueous suspensions, suitable for use as coating or paint compositions. Abstract: Methods and systems are provided to monitor bio-signals associated with one or more physiological structures of a subject, process the bio-signals to determine neural information, determine a current state of the subject based on the neural information, determine feedback to be provided to the subject based on the current neural state and a desired neural state, and/or to provide the feedback to the subject in order to modify the subject's current neural state to the desired neural state. The neural information may include validated neural indices relating to dynamic regulation of the monitored physiological structures via identifiable neural pathways and/or neural metrics quantified from such neural indices.
Abstract: A composition comprising microcapsules, the microcapsules containing both live mammalian ovarian granulosa cells and live mammalian ovarian theca cells, is described. In some embodiments, the granulosa cells and the theca cells are contained in separate microcapsules in the composition; in some embodiments, the granulosa cells and the theca cells are contained together in the same microcapsules in the composition. The composition is can be used for estrogen, and optionally also progesterone, delivery, and hence is preferably free or essentially free of oocytes. Methods of using the same and pharmaceutical formulations containing the same are also described.
