Abstract: The invention relates to a particle with a core-shell structure, the core of which comprises at least one thermochromic semiconductor and the shell comprises at least two layers—an inner layer in contact with the core and comprising a mineral material or an organo-mineral hybrid material; and—an outer layer comprising a mineral material or an organo-mineral hybrid material, different from that of the inner layer. The invention also relates to a method for producing this particle, and the use thereof as a temperature indicator, in particular in a culinary article, such as a pan.

Abstract: An iron has a heel on which the iron can rest during inactive ironing phases, an internal reservoir, a fill opening fluidly connected to the internal reservoir, a fill opening cover movable between a closed position and an open position, a seal configured to seal the fill opening when the fill opening cover is in the closed position, and a vent which is fluidly connected to the internal reservoir when the fill opening cover is in the closed position. The seal includes a barrier part extending into the internal reservoir, and a ventilation orifice which is fluidly connected to the vent, and which opens into the internal reservoir, the barrier part and the ventilation orifice being configured so as to prevent liquid from flowing from the internal reservoir and through the vent when the fill opening cover is in the closed position and the iron rests on the heel.

Abstract: Provided are non-stick coating hybrid primer compositions based on polyimide resin and/or polyamide-imide resin. Also provided are processes for preparing such compositions. Finally, non-stick coatings incorporating such compositions and a process for manufacturing articles comprising such non-stick coatings are provided.

Abstract: Provided is a non-stick coating primer composition, comprising an aqueous composition and a fluorocarbon resin dispersion, wherein the aqueous composition comprises a polyimide or a polyamide imide or a polyamide-amic acid; a Lewis base; a polar aprotic solvent; and at least 15% water compared to the total weight of the composition, wherein the Lewis base is one of an aminosilane or a silazane. Methods for preparing a non-stick coating primer composition are also provided.

Abstract: The invention relates to a cooking utensil comprising a hollow bowl with a base and a side wall rising from the base, and including at least one fragile area. The bowl has a concave inner surface for receiving food, as well as a convex outer surface. The utensil is coated successively, from the bowl, with a hard base and a nonstick coating, which covers the hard base and includes at least one layer containing at least one fluorocarbon resin. The hard base has a layer that is at least broken at the fragile area. The invention also relates to a method for producing such a utensil.

Abstract: Provided is a method for obtaining an item of cookware, including the following steps of: —producing or providing a blank from a textured sheet of stainless steel having at least one textured face, —stamping the blank in order to form a cap (2) having an inner face (3) and an outer face (4), the outer face (4) having parts in relief corresponding to the textured face of the blank, —optionally, partially covering the outer face (4) of the cap (2), —carrying out a mechanical finishing treatment of the free surface of the outer face (4) of the cap (2) in order to expose the stainless steel at the parts in relief of the free surface of the outer face (4) of the cap (2).
